In a coil component and a method for manufacturing the same, a winding part of a coil is grown by plating so as to extend between resin walls of a resin body provided before the coil is grown by plating. The resin wall is interposed between adjacent turns of the winding part of the coil during the plating growth, and therefore contact between adjacent turns of the winding part of the coil cannot occur.

Method for manufacturing coil component having resin walls

A coil component in which a change in thicknesses of the winding part is prevented is provided. According to the coil component, since each of a pair of neighboring resin walls and a seed part between the pair of resin walls are separated by a predetermined distance, a plating part grown on the seed part is easy to grow uniformly between the pair of neighboring resin walls. For this reason, the winding part whose surface is gentle and in which a change in thickness is prevented is obtained by plating growth.

A coil device comprising a coil, and a magnetic metal powder containing resin covering said coil. Said magnetic metal powder comprises at least two types of magnetic metal powders with different D50. The magnetic metal powder having larger D50 is defined as a large diameter powder, and the magnetic metal powder having smaller D50 is defined as a small diameter powder among the two types of said magnetic metal powder. Said large diameter powder is made of iron or iron based alloy. Said small diameter powder is made of Ni&#x2014;Fe alloy. Said small diameter powder has D50 of 0.5 to 1.5 &#x3bc;m. Said large diameter powder and said small diameter powder respectively comprises an insulation coating layer.

Disclosed herein is a coil component that includes a coil conductor part, and first and second high permeability parts provided respectively on both sides of the coil conductor part in a coil axis direction. The second high permeability part has a larger thickness in the coil axis direction than the first high permeability part. A low permeability part that segments at least a part of a magnetic path exists between the first and second high permeability parts in an outer diameter area of the coil conductor part when viewed in the coil axis direction.

Coil component and circuit board including the same

Disclosed herein is a coil component that includes an element body made of a first magnetic material, a coil conductor embedded in the element body, and first and second magnetic films made of a second magnetic material having higher permeability than that of the first magnetic material. The element body has an upper surface crossing a coil axis of the coil conductor and first and second side surfaces extending substantially parallel to the coil axis. The first magnetic film is formed on the upper surface and first side surface of the element body, and the second magnetic film is formed on the upper surface and second side surface of the element body.

In a coil component (planar coil element), at least part of a third metal magnetic powder constituting a metal magnetic powder and having a minimum average grain diameter is uncoated, which suppresses a reduction in magnetic permeability. On the other hand, the remaining metal powders are coated with glass, which improves the insulating properties of a metal magnetic powder-containing resin and reduces core loss.

An optical apparatus includes a focus lens that constitutes an image-pickup optical system configured to form an optical image of an object, a driver configured to drive the focus lens in an optical axis direction of the image-pickup optical system in focusing, and a controller configured to store a position of the focus lens in a memory which is set in accordance with an operation of a setter, and to control the driver in accordance with a manipulation of a manipulator so as to move the focus lens to the position stored in the memory, wherein the controller controls the driver so that a driving speed at which the focus lens is moved to the position stored in the memory when a mode of taking the object is a still image-pickup mode is higher than that in a motion image-pickup mode.

The optical apparatus accessory includes multiple terminal faces arranged in a direction of a relative movement for attachment to an optical apparatus and allowed to make contact with multiple terminal pins provided in the optical apparatus, and electric insulation portions provided between each two adjacent terminal faces. The controller calculates, in response to a start instruction of exposure for the image pickup and before start of the exposure, a predictive value of the shake amount for a time point of the exposure based on the plural shake amounts stored in the memory and including at least one shake amount detected after the start instruction of exposure. The controller moves the focus lens to a position corresponding to the predictive value before the start of the exposure.

An image stabilizer includes: an optical system movable in a plane perpendicular to an optical axis ('orthogonal plane') and correcting image blur; a movable member holding the optical system and movable relative to a fixed member in an orthogonal plane; a guide guiding the movable member while preventing from rotating in an orthogonal plane; three first balls rollably interposed between the fixed and guide members; two second balls rollably interposed between the guide and movable members; one third ball rollably interposed between the fixed and movable members; a biasing unit biasing the movable member toward the fixed member; and a drive unit driving the movable member relative to the fixed member in two directions perpendicular to the optical axis, wherein in an orthogonal plane, two of the first balls are rollable only in first direction; the second balls are rollable only in second direction different from the first direction.
