A motor apparatus provided with a connector unit () to which an external connector is connected, wherein the connector unit () has a plurality of conductive members () arranged over a base portion () and a connector connecting portion () provided with a plug-in hole in which the external connector is plugged, wherein the conductive members () respectively include connector-side connecting portions () connected to the external connector so as to face the connector connecting portion () from a first direction reversed to a plug-in direction of the external connector to the plug-in hole and base-side connecting portions () connected to terminals or wirings provided in the base portion (), wherein the connector-side connecting portions () are respectively inserted into a plurality of insertion holes () provided at positions different from each other in a second direction intersecting the first direction, and wherein the base-side connecting portions () are respectively arranged at the same position in the second direction.

Motor apparatus having improved connector unit

In an electric motor apparatus including an electric motor (), a speed-reduction mechanism () which transmits motive power of the electric motor (), a housing () which accommodates the speed-reduction mechanism () and the electric motor (), and a yoke () fixed to an outer portion of the housing (), the housing () is provided with a concave portion (), a holding hole (), and an accommodation chamber (). A connector unit () is moved along the first direction and installed to a concave portion (). A brush holder () is moved along the second direction and installed to the holding hole (). The speed-reduction mechanism () is moved along the first direction and accommodated in the accommodation chamber (). The yoke () is moved along the second direction and fixed to the housing (). Therefore, no restriction is imposed on the routing of an external connector connected to the connector unit ().

Electric motor apparatus and method for assembling the same

A wiper motor () comprises: a motor body () comprising a motor case () rotatably supporting an end of the motor shaft () in the axial direction thereof; a reduction mechanism () reducting the speed of rotation of the motor shaft () and transmitting the rotation having the reduced speed to a worm wheel (); and a motion conversion mechanism () converting the rotational motion of the worm wheel () into a rocking motion and transmitting the rocking motion to an output shaft (). The position of the output shaft () is set up that the axis (C) of the output shaft () is closer to the motor case () than the axis (C) of the worm wheel () and farther from the axis (C) of the worm wheel () than the axis (C) of the motor shaft ().

Wiper motor

A wiper motor 10 has a reduction mechanism 29 for reducing the rotational speed of a motor shaft 25 and transmitting the reduced speed, and a motion conversion mechanism 31 for converting the rotational motion of the reduction mechanism 29 into a rotational motion and transmitting the motion to the output shaft 30. A pair of first connection holes 50 and a pair of second connection holes 51 are formed on a worm wheel 35 at a position deviated in a radial direction from an axial center of the worm wheel so that each of the holes is opened at the side of one axial end side. The worm wheel 35 can be used for both cases in which the output shaft 30 is swung within a first swinging region and in which the output shaft 30 is swung within a second swinging region.
