A wire harness exterior protecting tube minimizes sagging of a wire harness laid in a straddling manner in a vehicle and allows smooth bending of the wire harness. The wire harness exterior protecting tube has longitudinal opposite ends supported in a straddling manner by the vehicle without support between the opposite ends. The protecting tube has at one side section a vertical flat plate section and also has the other section having a square U-shaped or semicircular ring-shaped cross-section. The other section connects to the one side section to form a square or semicircular cross-sectional shape. That portion of the other section which faces the flat plate section is a bellows section having a corrugated shape. The thickness of the flat plate section is adapted to suppress the sagging of the protecting tube caused by the weight of the wire harness and to be bendable by bending of the bellows.

Wire harness exterior protecting tube and wire harness

An arranging structure spans a wire harness for a motor vehicle between a vehicle body and a slide member. The structure includes a corrugated tube for sheathing the wire harness; a protector made of a resin material, the protector holding opposite ends of the corrugated tube in a longitudinal direction and threading the wire harness; and a rotary member integrated with the protector or coupled to the protector as a different element from the protector, the rotary member being rotatably supported on supporting members provided on the vehicle body and the slide member.

Arranging structure of wire harness for motor vehicle

A device for supporting a cable between a vehicle body and a movable member movably connected to the vehicle body is provided with a guide member including a first opening communicating with a hollow portion of a frame body and used for the insertion of the cable, a second opening spaced apart by a specified angle from the first opening, communicating with the hollow portion and used for the insertion of the cable, and a three-dimensional arcuate surface on the outer surface of the frame body; and a supporting member for rotatably holding the arcuate surface of the guide member. The supporting member is fixed to the vehicle body and/or movable member. The cable is inserted from the first opening of the guide member to the second opening through the hollow portion, so that the guide member can follow angular changes of the cable in vertical, transverse and oblique directions.

Cable supporting device

A device for supporting a cable between a vehicle body and a movable member movably connected to the vehicle body is provided with a guide including a frame having a three-dimensional outer surface and a supporting member for rotatably tightly holding the arcuate surface of the guide, the support being fixed to the vehicle body and/or the movable member. The frame of the guide includes a first opening and a second opening communicating with a hollow portion thereof and used for insertion of the cable, a tube projecting from the peripheral edge of the first opening and a rotational angle restriction projecting from the outer surface of the frame while being spaced apart by a required angle from the tube. The support includes a contact engageable with the rotational angle restriction, and at least one of facing surfaces of the contact and the rotational angle restriction is an inclined surface.

The outer periphery of the code leading end portion of the rear end portion of a connector housing is formed in a regular quadrilateral shape, while the inner periphery of the mounting end portion of a code hold boot member is formed in a regular quadrilateral shape which allows the mounting end portion inner periphery to be fitted with the outer surfaces of the code draw-out end portion. A plurality of projection-shaped engaging portions are formed in the respective composing surfaces of the outer periphery of the code leading end portion and, a plurality of engaging portions are formed in the respective composing surfaces of the inner periphery of the mounting end portion. The mounting end portion of the code hold boot member can be fitted with the outer surfaces of the code leading end portion in four different postures leading in upper, lower, right and left directions.

Optical connector

A connector includes a connector housing and a branched joint terminal for branching a primary line to a plurality of secondary lines. The connector housing has a plurality of terminal housing extending parallel to each other and opening at the front side for accommodating one terminal connected to the primary line or to the secondary line (5B). The connector housing is provided with grooves extending between the side walls thereof and crossing the terminal housing. Thus extended formed groove is also opened at the front side for receiving the joint terminal therein. When joint terminal is placed in the groove, the first and second terminals accommodated in the terminal housing are electrically connected through the joint terminal so that the primary line is branched and connected to the secondary terminals.
