A battery includes: a casing that includes a plurality of exterior faces having outer faces facing mutually-different directions and has an arrangement concave part formed; a cell that is housed inside the casing; and a connector that includes a connection terminal connected to an electrode terminal of a connection apparatus and is arranged in the arrangement concave part, in which a face forming the arrangement concave part of the casing is formed as a concave part forming face, and the concave part forming face is present between the exterior faces and the connector.

Battery and connection apparatus

Disclosed is a battery including a casing including cells housed therein and a terminal part including a connection terminal connected to an electrode terminal of a connection apparatus, in which in the casing, a functional groove having a predetermined function in which a longitudinal direction coincides with a connection direction of the connection terminal and the electrode terminal is formed, and the functional groove includes a plurality of functional units having different lengths which are continuously formed. Accordingly, since there is no part that divides a functional unit between a plurality of functional units having different lengths, a size of the functional groove in a direction in which the functional units are continuous is a sum of sizes of a plurality of functional units, and thus it is possible to reduce the size of the battery while securing high functionality.

Rechargeable battery

A battery includes: a casing that houses a cell inside; and a terminal part that has connection terminals connected to electrode terminals of a connection apparatus, in which the casing includes a top face and a bottom face positioned on opposite sides in a height direction and two side faces positioned between the top face and the bottom face on opposite sides in a widthwise direction, a notch is formed by a level difference face that is continuous from the side face and a groove forming face that is continuous from the bottom face, and a guided groove that is open to the groove forming face is formed in the casing, and the guided groove is positioned on a further bottom face side than the level difference face.

A discharge apparatus includes a discharge device having a temperature characteristic in which the impedance of the discharge device in a discharging state decreases as the ambient temperature increases, a capacitor that stores charge for causing the discharge device to discharge, a discharge control device that controls electrical connection and disconnection between the capacitor and the discharge device, and a current limiting device that limits a current flowing in the discharge control device to a predetermined value or less when the discharge control device electrically connects the capacitor to the discharge device. The current limiting device is serially connected to the discharge device, the capacitor, and the discharge control device. The current limiting device is a thermistor having a temperature characteristic in which the resistance of the thermistor increases as the temperature of the thermistor increases.

An input device includes a touch panel with which a user performs an input operation of information by touching the touch panel. The input device further includes a vibration generation device for feeding back, to the user, various kinds of sense of touch in accordance with the type of the information through the touch panel. Additionally, the input device includes a vibration control circuit for allowing the vibration generation device to generate various forms of vibrations in accordance with the type of the information. The vibration generation device is a bimorph piezoelectric actuator including a first actuator unit and a second actuator unit stacked on the first actuator unit in which when one of the first and second actuator units expands, the other contracts. Further, each of the first and second actuator units has a multi-layered piezoelectric element layer.

An input device and an electronic apparatus using such an input device capable of providing visual amusement at the time of operating thereof and allowing the down sizing and thinning are provided. The input device has a reversible chromatic layer exhibiting color change in response to temperature change, and a sheet-type input portion laminated on the reversible chromatic layer and activates ON operation upon being pressed.
