Provided is a pharmaceutical composition, including a drug and a collagen, in which the composition is satisfactory in handleability and has sustained-release property. The sustained-release pharmaceutical composition includes: a drug; a collagen; and at least one kind of sugar selected from monosaccharides, disaccharides, trisaccharides, and tetrasaccharides. The inventors of the present invention have found that the in vivo administration of a collagen solution containing a sugar results in the gelation of a collagen. Based on this finding, the inventors have found that a composition containing a drug, a collagen, and a sugar can control the release rate of the drug, and such composition can be used as a sustained-release pharmaceutical composition.

Sustained-release pharmaceutical composition

A-syringe for storing a freeze-dried agent therein under reduced pressure as well as a method for manufacturing the syringe. A specified amount of a chemical is injected into a cartridge with the one end of the cartridge down. The gasket is plugged halfway on the other end side of the cartridge, so that the cartridge is made communicating between inside and outside by the recessed groove, in which state the chemical is freeze-dried. The sealing cap is overlaid on an upper end face of the gasket and the sealing cap is pushed in the reduced-pressure atmosphere so that the other end side of the cartridge is sealed by the gasket and the sealing cap. The sealing cap is engaged with an end face of the cartridge on the other end side, thereby being prevented from moving into the cartridge.

Reduced-pressure syringe and manufacturing method therefor

A composition of a stabilized fibroblast growth factor (FGF), which contains an aluminum salt of cyclodextrin sulfate to stabilize FGF. FGF can be stabilized by forming a composition of FGF and an aluminum salt of cyclodextrin sulfate, and can be stably prepared into formulations.
