A management system includes a management server that can communicate information with a battery station that houses a battery that is lent based on a usage agreement. The management server acquires the lending date and time at which the battery is lent from the battery station, and the return date and time at which the battery is returned to the battery station during the usage agreement period of an existing contract user. When a prescribed period has elapsed from the lending date and time without the battery being returned, or when a prescribed period has elapsed from the return date and time without the battery being lent, the management server determines that the battery is in an idle state.

Management system

In a water-cooled four-cycle engine, an engine core including a cylinder block, a cylinder head and a first crankcase half body is formed as a unitary part cast integrally, and a water jacket including a cylinder jacket and a head jacket is formed in the engine core. In a first side surface of the engine core which is parallel with an axis of a crankshaft, an intake port and a first semi-peripheral portion of the water jacket are opened and a first lid plate for closing an opening portion of the first semi-peripheral portion is connected. In a second side surface of the engine core on a side opposite from the first side surface, an exhaust port and a second semi-peripheral portion of the water jacket are opened and a second lid plate for closing an opening portion of the second opposite portion is connected.

Water-cooled four-cycle engine

In a water-cooled four-cycle engine, an engine core including a cylinder block, a cylinder head and a first crankcase half body is formed as a unitary part cast integrally; a water jacket including a cylinder jacket surrounding a cylinder bore and a head jacket surrounding a combustion chamber is formed in the engine core; and a timing-belt chamber being adjacent to the cylinder jacket is provided in a side portion of the engine core. A first opening portion for forming a first semi-peripheral portion of the cylinder jacket on a side opposite from the timing-belt chamber by casting out is provided in a side surface of the cylinder block. A second opening portion for forming a second semi-peripheral portion of the cylinder jacket and the head jacket by casting out is provided in an upper surface of the cylinder head.

In a water-cooled four-cycle engine, an engine core including a cylinder block, a cylinder head and a first crankcase half body is formed as a unitary part cast integrally; a water jacket including a cylinder jacket and a head jacket is formed in the engine core; and a timing-belt chamber being adjacent to the cylinder jacket is provided in a side portion of the engine core. A first opening portion for forming a first semi-peripheral portion of the cylinder jacket on a side opposite from the timing-belt chamber by casting out is provided in a side surface of the cylinder block. Second and third opening portions for forming a second semi-peripheral portion of the cylinder jacket and the head jacket as well as the timing-belt chamber, respectively, by casting out are provided in an upper surface of the cylinder head.

In a carburetor mounting structure, a stud bolt is implanted in a carburetor mounting portion, a screw hole is provided in the carburetor mounting portion, first and second mounting flanges include first bolt holes through which the stud bolt passes, and second bolt holes into which a tap bolt is screwed, and the first bolt hole of the first mounting flange is formed into a notched shape so as to allow the stud bolt to be inserted into the first bolt hole from an outside of the first mounting flange. Thus, it is possible to provide a carburetor mounting structure wherein mounting of a carburetor by a stud bolt is possible even if only a small space exists outward of an outer end of the stud bolt.

Carburetor mounting structure

A toothed belt transmission is provided in which a toothed belt is trained around drive and driven pulleys. Each toothed pulley has a circumferential periphery formed with a plurality of teeth. Adjacent teeth are assigned as a first tooth portion and a second tooth portion. Respective tooth portions have arcuate portions at corners defined between tooth edges and tooth surfaces. A line touching the arcuate portions of the first and second tooth portions is assigned as a common tangential line. A line passing over a starting point of the arcuate portion of the tooth edge of the first tooth is assigned as a first tangential line. An angle between the common tangential line and the first tangential line falls in a range between 6&#xb0; and 14.4&#xb0;.

Toothed belt transmission

An automatic choke system includes: a wax-type temperature sensing section; and an output section which opens a choke valve of a carburetor in response to heat receiving operation of the temperature sensing section. Temperature sensing section includes: a bottomed cylindrical housing attached to an engine with its bottom portion directed to a high-temperature portion of the engine; a bottomed movable cylinder; a stationary piston slidably supported by the movable cylinder and having one end protruding out of the movable cylinder; and a wax contained in the movable cylinder in a sealed manner, and causing the movable cylinder and the stationary piston to move relative to each other in an axial direction. The movable cylinder is slidably housed in the housing in a state in which an outer end of the stationary piston abuts against an inner surface of the bottom portion of the housing. The output section is connected to the movable cylinder. Thus, the rate of opening of the choke valve can be increased immediately after the start of engine warming-up operation, and reduced as approaching the completion of engine warming-up operation.

Automatic choke system for carburetor

In a valve-operating assembly of a driven rotation member and a cam, including a hub rotatably carried on a support shaft, a cam formed on an outer periphery of one end of the hub, and a driven rotation member coupled to one end of the cam; the cam and the hub are integrally formed of a sintered alloy; the cam has a recess defined in one end face thereof; and the driven rotation member is made of a synthetic resin, and mold-coupled to the cam and the hub so that the recess is filled with the synthetic resin of the driven rotation member and an outer periphery of the hub is wrapped with the synthetic resin. Thus, it is possible to provide the valve-operating assembly of the driven rotation member and the cam, which is lightweight and excellent in lubrication of the cam and the hub.

A seal structure in an engine, including a seal member interposed between a cylinder head having a slanting face portion at least at an intermediate portion of its upper end face to which a valve-operating cam chamber opens, and a head cover coupled to the upper end face of the cylinder head by a bolt to close the valve-operating cam chamber. The head cover has a fit wall portion formed thereon and fitted to an inner peripheral surface of the valve-operating cam chamber, and the seal member is mounted in a seal groove provided in an outer peripheral surface of the fit wall portion to come into close contact with an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder head. Thus, an interference can be provided equally at various portions of the seal member irrespective of the number of bolts used, and the seal member can always exhibit a good seal function.

Seal structure between cylinder head and head cover in engine

In a valve-operating device with a breather system in an engine, in which a breather passage is defined in a cam shaft, a bearing cap is detachably secured to the engine body for supporting an outer peripheral surface of one end portion of the camshaft with a bearing. A breather chamber is provided in the bearing cap in order to communicate with the outlet of the breather passage. A pipe-connecting portion is integrally formed on an outer peripheral surface of the bearing cap; and a breather pipe connected to an intake system is connected to the pipe-connecting portion. Thus, a blow-by gas can be drawn through the breather passage in the valve-operating camshaft to the outside by utilizing a portion of a valve-operating camshaft supporting structure. It is thus possible to simplify the structure of the valve-operating device with the breather system.
