A magnetic sensor unit includes a magnet, a magnetic sensor facing a lower surface of the magnet, a magnetic shield surrounding the magnetic sensor in a lateral direction crossing up and down directions of the magnetic sensor, and a magnetic yoke covering an upper surface and a side surface of the magnet. The magnet includes a first magnetized region magnetized along the up and down direction, and a second magnetized region magnetized in a direction opposite to a direction of magnetization of the first magnetized region. The first and second magnetized regions have first and second magnetic poles provided on the lower surface of the magnet. A distance LA between a center of the first magnetic pole and a center of the second magnetic pole, a distance LB between the magnetic shield and the center of the first magnetic pole, a distance LC between the magnetic shield and the center of the second magnetic pole satisfy a relation of LA<LB+LC. This magnetic sensor unit has magnetic shielding properties and has a small size.

Magnetic sensor unit

A magnetic sensor includes a first magnetoresistive element that detects a magnetic field along a first detection axis, a second magnetoresistive element that detects a magnetic field along a second detection axis inclining at an angle of 45 degrees with respect to the first detection axis, a first Hall element that detects a magnetic field along a third detection axis, and a second Hall element that detects a magnetic field along a fourth detection axis perpendicular to the third detection axis. This magnetic sensor has both characteristics of the Hall elements and characteristics of the magnetoresistive elements, and has high accuracy and a small size.

Magnetic sensor

A magnetic sensor includes a magneto-resistive element, a Hall element, and a detection circuit that receives a signal from the magneto-resistive element and a signal from the Hall element input thereto. The detection circuit includes an output terminal and an interrupt generation unit. The output terminal outputs, to the outside as an output signal, a signal obtained by performing to the signal input from the magneto-resistive element, at least one processing selected from amplification, analog-to-digital conversion, offset correction, and temperature-characteristics correction. The interrupt generation unit outputs an interrupt signal when the signal input from the Hall element is larger than a predetermined threshold. The magnetic sensor is high accurate and highly reliable.

Magnetic sensor and detection device using same

An inertial force sensor that can suppress fluctuation of detection sensitivity even if an external stress is applied to the inertial force sensor. Angular velocity sensor (), that is, an inertial force sensor includes ceramic substrate (), lower lid () adhering to ceramic substrate () with adhesives (and) (first adhesives), and sensor element () adhering to lower lid () with adhesives (and) (second adhesives). The elastic moduli of adhesives (and) are smaller than those of adhesives (and).

Angular velocity sensor for suppressing fluctuation of detection sensitivity

A sensor includes a circuit board, a wiring connection layer, a sensor element, and a conductive post. The circuit board has a first electrode. The wiring connection layer has second and third electrodes. The second electrode is connected to the first electrode. The sensor element has a fourth electrode. The conductive post connects the third electrode electrically with the fourth electrode. This sensor can be driven efficiently.

Sensor

An inertial force sensor includes a detector element, a supporting body supporting the detector element, and a case holding the detector element via the first supporting body. The supporting body has flexibility and has a plate shape. The detector element includes a weight, a flexible coupling portion extending along a plane and supporting the weight, a fixing portion holding the weight via the coupling portion, and a detector detecting angular velocities about at least two axes non-parallel to each other. The supporting body extends in parallel with the plane from the detector element, and bends at a bending portion in a direction away from the plane. This inertial force sensor can detect the angular velocities while preventing erroneous detection caused by external impacts and vibrations.

A tire force detection apparatus estimates the force exerted on a tire at the contact point of the tire in a vehicle that includes: a tire/wheel assembly having a wheel and a tire held on an outer circumferential portion of the wheel; and a wheel support member that rotatably supports the wheel via a wheel support portion. The tire force detection apparatus includes: an elastic body disposed between the wheel and the wheel support portion, the elastic body having column portions that each abut, at opposite ends thereof, the wheel and the wheel support portion and a plate-shaped portion that is integrated with the column portions and extends around the column portions; stress detectors that detect stress applied to the elastic body by detecting a strain of the plate-shaped portion; and an electronic circuit device that calculates the force exerted on the tire, based on the stress detected.

Tire force detection apparatus

A brake force detecting device for detecting strain in a caliper bracket. The brake force detecting device includes a sensor plate fixed to the outside surface of a brake load receiving portion of the caliper bracket in the circumferential direction of a brake disc and a strain gauge attached to the sensor plate for detecting strain generated in the sensor plate. The strain gauge is connected to an amplifier.

The present invention provides a strain detector improved in output characteristic, in which no internal stress is generated in strain resistance elements even with it fixed on a fixing member. The strain detector is configured in that a detection hole is provided nearly at the center of a insulating substrate, a fixing hole is formed at the position of peripheral end, a portion around the detection hole is pressed by a pressing member, one holding member and the other holding member are provided with fixing holes opposing to the fixing holes of the insulating substrate, and the peripheral end of the insulating substrate is fixed by the fixing member inserted. Accordingly, the detection hole in the insulating substrate is peripherally displaceable in a vertical direction with respect to one holding member and the other holding member.

According to a fixing device of the present invention, a screw penetrates through a first fixing hole of a first fixing section and a second fixing hole of a second fixing section to be coupled with a weight measuring machine, and is tightened with a nut, so that the first fixing section is fixed to the second fixing section. In addition, at least one clearance of the first fixing hole and the second fixing hole is configured to be bigger than an assembly tolerance of the two fixing holes. Using this structure, the fixing device, which can accommodate constructive variations of the fixing section of the weight measuring machine and maintain excellent detecting accuracy, and a weight measuring apparatus using the same, can be provided.

A weight measuring device comprising a base fixed to an object, a strain detection substrate fixed to the base, a fitting pin fixed to the strain detection substrate, an arm rotatably attached to the base by a support pin, and a leaf spring with one end fixed to the arm and the other end supported by the fitting pin. The weight measuring device further comprises a second arm with one end receiving the load of the object to be measured and the other end fixed to the arm through a link pin. By the configuration of the present invention, the load applied to the strain detection substrate is reduced, and a weight measuring device improved in detecting resolution is obtained. Furthermore, the weight measuring device of the present invention is unitized, and the weight measuring device can be easily built into various equipment.

An inertia detecting transducer having a reliable detection element. The element is kept to be free from deposition of gas and organic substance generated from resin adhesive. A first case of the transducer has an opening and a circuit component mounted thereon, and is provided with an external electrode and a first connection electrode. A second case includes a detection element mounted inside thereof, and an opening of the case is sealed with a sealing plate. The second case is further provided with a second connection electrode. The second case is attached to the first case so that the former covers the opening of the latter. The second connection electrode and the first connection electrode are electrically coupled. In the above-described configuration of the present invention, if an inertia detecting transducer gets a partial damage, either one of the detection element and the circuit component remaining intact can be re-utilzed.

Inertia detecting transducer

A sensor comprises a detecting element, a circuit board having digital correction function and having connection pads for digital correction for processing a signal of the detecting element, a connector connected electrically to the circuit board for exchanging signals between the circuit board and an external electric system, and holes through which connection pads for digital correction are visible. The holes are provided in the opening of the connector for contacting electrically with a probe for characteristic correction.

Sensor device

A non-contact thermometer uses a pyroelectric infrared sensor which makes it possible to measure temperatures of an object having a large area required to be measured, and at a plurality of points. The thermometer sets up a reference position without using a position detecting switch and also improves the accuracy of measuring the temperature due to its increased amount of incident infrared rays transmitted as a result of reducing the motor speed and extending the time of measurement at the point where infrared rays of the object to be measured is to be detected. The thermometer's stepping motor is fed with its operation step input and brought to a stop at the reference exciting phase of the motor which has been set up in advance. The whole measurement operation thereafter is arranged to proceed, starting from the above exciting phase serving as the reference, at which point the motor was brought to a stop.
