A refrigeration cycle device includes a refrigeration cycle formed by connecting a compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve and an evaporator to each other. As a refrigerant in the refrigeration cycle, a working fluid containing 1,1,2-trifluoroethylene (R1123) and difluoromethane (R32) is used. A degree of opening of the expansion valve is controlled such that the refrigerant has two phases at a suction portion of the compressor.

The present invention includes a refrigeration cycle circuit that includes compressor, indoor heat exchanger, expansion valve, and outdoor heat exchanger that are connected to each other. A working fluid containing R1123 (1,1,2-trifluoroethylene) and R32 (difluoromethane) is used as a refrigerant sealed in the refrigeration cycle circuit, and an electric motor driving device that drives an electric motor of compressor includes a rotational speed estimator. The rotational speed estimator estimates rotational speed based on information on a detection value of an electric current input to the electric motor or a magnetic pole position of a rotor that constitutes the electric motor.

A compressor uses a refrigerant containing R1123 (1,1,2-trifluoroethylene) as a working fluid, and uses a polyol ester oil as a compressor lubricating oil. In addition, a fixed scroll and a revolving scroll each having a spiral lap rising from an end plate, and a compression chamber which is formed by meshing the fixed scroll and the revolving scroll, are provided. In addition, a discharge hole which is provided at a center position of the end plate of the fixed scroll, and is open to a discharge chamber, a bypass hole which is provided in the end plate of the fixed scroll, and communicates with the compression chamber and the discharge chamber at a timing different from a timing at which the compression chamber communicates with the discharge hole, and a check valve which is provided in the bypass hole, and allows a flow from the compression chamber side to the discharge chamber side.

Use of a double bond-containing hydrofluoroolefin refrigerant causes a problem that it generates hydrogen fluoride by cleavage and decomposition under influence of oxygen, leading to degradation of the materials and the refrigeration oil used in the refrigeration apparatus and causing troubles in the refrigeration apparatus. It is possible to provide a high-reliability longer-lasting refrigeration apparatus by inexpensive method, by using a double bond-containing hydrofluoroolefin refrigerant in a refrigerating cycle having a refrigerant circulation route extending from a compressor, via a condenser, an expansion mechanism, and an evaporator, back to the compressorthat contains an ester-based refrigeration oil containing an unsaturated fatty acid as a constituent fatty acid.

An air conditioner of the present invention having a heat exchanger and a blower for supplying the heat exchanger with air comprises an antibacterial and mold-proofing member which includes an antibacterial and mold-proofing component which will volatile at an ambient temperature and diffuse in the air conditioner, and also has a control mechanism for gradually evaporating which controls the release rate of the antibacterial and mold-proofing component to the inside of the air conditioner so that it becomes large at high humidity and small at low humidity.

In an apparatus having a refrigeration cycle, the refrigeration cycle is formed by annularly connecting a compressor, a condenser, an expansion device and an evaporator with one another, the apparatus uses propane, isobutane or ethane as a refrigerant, and uses refrigerating machine oil having less mutual solubility with the refrigerant, and a dryer is provided in the refrigeration cycle for absorbing water. In stead of the dryer, an additive which reacts with water may be included in said refrigerating machine oil. With this structure, it is possible to provide a method for taking custody of, transporting and installing an apparatus having a refrigeration cycle in which safety is assured when the apparatus having the refrigeration cycle is being transported or kept in custody, the efficiency of the disposing operation is enhanced, and a problem such as deterioration of performance is not generated.

In a compressor of a refrigeration cycle using an HC-based refrigerant and a lubricant having specific gravity greater than that of the HC-based refrigerant and having no or no or less mutual solubility with the HC-based refrigerant, an oil reservoir is formed on a bottom of the compressor, the oil reservoir is provided at its portion with a recess, a suction port of a lubricant suction pipe for supplying the lubricant to a compressor mechanism is provided in the recess. With this feature, it is possible to sufficiently supply the lubricant to the compressor even when the lubricant has no or less mutual solubility, so that even if the amount of the lubricant is reduced, the lubricant can be sufficiently sucked from an inlet port of a lubricant pumping pipe and supplied to the compressor mechanism.

A refrigeration system includes an outdoor unit having a refrigeration compressor and a heat exchanger, and an indoor unit having a heat exchanger to be placed where air conditioning is desired. In installing the refrigeration system, the outdoor unit is first connected with the indoor unit via pipe lines, and an air absorbing device containing zeolite as an adsorbent is subsequently placed on the outdoor unit, the indoor unit, or the pipe lines to remove air. The air absorbing device is then separated from the refrigeration system, and refrigerant is caused to circulate through the refrigeration system.
