To improve convenience of a biopotential detector. A support includes a lower surface and an upper surface. A first detection electrode is exposed on the lower surface. A first signal terminal is exposed on the upper surface and is electrically connected to the first detection electrode. A secondary battery and a charging circuit are supported in the support. A positive electrode terminal is exposed on the upper surface and is electrically connected to the secondary battery. A gel member covering the first detection electrode is attachable/detachable to/from the lower surface. A signal processing device having a connecting part is attachable/detachable to/from the upper surface. When the signal processing device is attached to the upper surface, the first signal terminal and the positive electrode terminal are connected to the connecting part.

Pad for detecting biopotentials and biopotential detector

An electroencephalogram electrode includes: a bottom portion on which a connection member is placed, the connection member which is configured to supply a biological signal that is acquired from a subject through conductive gel, to an external apparatus; an annular wall which annularly extends from the bottom portion in a contact direction with respect to the subject; and a plurality of barb members which are disposed in a holding space for the conductive gel that is located inside the annular wall, and which elongate from the bottom portion in the contact direction with respect to the subject.

Electroencephalogram electrode

A defibrillation pad for a defibrillator, includes: a pair of electrode pads () each including a gel portion (); lead wires (); a pair of nonconductive release liners (A,B) each detachably stuck to the corresponding gel portion () and each having a through hole (A,B) opposed to the corresponding gel portion; and a connecting member () comprising an electric connecting pattern () having a predetermined electrical resistance, wherein the pair of gel portions (), each of which is exposed from the corresponding through hole (A,B), are electrically connected to each other through the electric connecting pattern () in a state where each of the pair of release liners (A,B) are stuck to the corresponding gel portion. The connecting member () has a cut region () by which the pair of gel portions are electrically disconnected to each other when the pair of electrode pads are stuck to a living body.

Defibrillation pad

An electrode pad includes: a conductor layer; and an adhesive gel layer which is stacked on one surface of the conductor layer, the adhesive gel layer which contains 0.1 wt % or more of SnCl2.2H2O, and which has a pH of 3 to 6. The conductor layer may a conductive metal layer. The conductor layer may include a tin foil.

Electrode pad

A gel layer retained in a retaining member , such as non-woven fabric, is placed on one side of an electrode element . The electrode element is held by a flexible and extendable tape , and the tape adheres to a biological surface tissue. When being plastered onto the biological surface tissue, the tape is covered with cover films and , thereby preventing occurrence of a kink in the tape . After the tape has been attached to the biological surface tissue, a butt-joined portion between two sub-divisions constituting a cover film is exfoliated to the outside, thus preventing removal of the tape
