To provide an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene stretched microporous film having high strength and heat resistance. An ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene stretched microporous film, which comprises at least an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene having an intrinsic viscosity ([&#x3b7;]) of at least 7 dl/g and at most 60 dl/g, and which has a porosity of at least 10% and at most 70% and a breaking stress of at least 1 MPa when melt-stretched at 150&#xb0; C., which uses, as the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene, preferably ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene particles which satisfy (1) an intrinsic viscosity ([&#x3b7;]) of at least 7 dl/g and at most 60 dl/g, (2) a bulk density of at least 130 kg/mand at most 700 kg/m, and (3) &#x394;Tm (&#x394;Tm=Tm&#x2212;Tm) of at least 9&#xb0; C. and at most 30&#xb0; C., which is a difference between the melting point (Tm) at the 1st scanning and the melting point (Tm) at the 2nd scanning measured by DSC.

Ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene stretched porous film

To provide novel ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene particles having a high melting point and exhibiting high crystallinity, thus capable of providing a molded product excellent in mechanical strength, thermal resistance and abrasion resistance. Ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene particles which satisfy that (1) the intrinsic viscosity (&#x3b7;) is at least 15 dL/g and at most 60 dL/g, (2) the bulk density is at least 130 kg/mand at most 700 kg/m, and (3) &#x394;Tm (&#x394;Tm=Tm&#x2212;Tm) i.e. the difference between a melting point (Tm) in 1st scan and a melting point (Tm) in 2nd scan, measured by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), is at least 11&#xb0; C. and at most 30&#xb0; C.

Ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene particles and molded product made thereof

A propylene polymer resin composition comprising 50-99 wt. % of a propylene polymer resin and 1-50 wt. % of an ethylene polymer resin, wherein said ethylene polymer resin has the following characteristics (A) through (E): (A) a density (d), as measured by a density gradient tube method according to JIS K6760, of 940-960 kg/m; (B) a melt flow rate (MFR), as measured at 190&#xb0; C. under a load of 2.16 kg, of 1-10 g/10 min.; (C) a frequency of terminal vinyl of not more than 0.2 per 1,000 carbon atoms; (D) a melt strength (MS), as measured at 160&#xb0; C., of at least 100 mN; and (E) an activation energy of flow (Ea) of not larger than 35 kJ/mol. The propylene polymer resin has high melt strength and exhibits enhanced fluidity, processability and shapability.

An object of the present invention relates to provide an ethylene polymer having excellent mechanical strength and excellent molding processability in a wide molding processing temperature range. The invention relates to use an ethylene polymer comprising a repeating unit derived from ethylene, or a repeating unit derived from ethylene and a repeating unit derived from a C&#x3b1;-olefin, the ethylene polymer being satisfied with the following (A) to (F). Ethylene polymer, catalyst for ethylene polymer production, and method for producing ethylene polymer

A silane-crosslinking expandable polyolefin resin composition that is flowable before foaming and composition, does not cause degassing even when foaming is carried out immediately after heat molding without the conventional crosslinking operation, and gives a crosslinked foam having superior heat resistance (heat deformation properties) after the foaming. The silane-crosslinking expandable polyolefin resin composition includes 100 parts by weight of a mixture of 5-90% by weight of a silane-grafted polyethylene resin obtained by melt mixing 100 parts by weight of LLDPE having a molecular weight distribution of 5 or less and a density of 0.87-0.945 g/cm , 0.1-5 parts by weight of a vinyl-functional silane compound and 0.01-0.5 parts by weight of a free radical generator, and 95-10% by weight of a polyolefin resin; and 2-20 parts by weight of a specified organic blowing gas.
