There is provided a bracket which connects an apron reinforcement provided below a bonnet and an upper portion of a fender provided on an outward side, in a vehicle width direction, of the bonnet. The bracket comprises a fender fixing portion fixed to a flange portion of an upper end portion of the fender, a body portion extending downwardly from the fender fixing portion and positioned on the outward side of the apron reinforcement, and an apron-reinforcement fixing portion extending from an inward side, in the vehicle width direction, of the body portion toward the apron reinforcement and fixed to the apron reinforcement. The body portion is provided with a curved part which is configured to be curved outwardly in the vehicle width direction.

Front vehicle-body structure of vehicle

A front vehicle-body structure of a vehicle that enables smooth compressive deformation of a front side frame from the front side thereof on a vehicle frontal collision portion. The front vehicle-body structure of a vehicle includes a pair of left and right front side frames extending in a vehicle front-rear direction is characterized in that each of the front side frames is formed such that a rear side portion has a higher rigidity than a front side portion, and rigidity differences are alternately formed in the vehicle front-rear direction in each of regions of the front side portion and the rear side portion.

A front vehicle-body structure is characterized in that each of front side frames includes outer and inner members. The outer and inner members have vertical wall surface portions in which a recessed bead extending from a front side to at least a position next to a suspension tower portion in a vehicle front-rear direction is formed. A reinforcement extending in the vehicle front-rear direction and in an up-down direction that divides a closed cross-section of the front side frame into left and right is included between the members of the front side frame to which the suspension tower portion is connected. The reinforcement is formed to join to upper flange portions and lower flange portions of the members of the front side frame with the reinforcement being interposed between the upper flange portions and between the lower flange portions and to linearly extend in the up-down direction.

In an engine compartment, a separation wall is provided between an intake pipe, which runs around to a rear side of the engine from a lateral side of the engine, and the engine. On an outer side of this separation wall, a travel wind guide having a vertical wall portion that opposes the separation wall with the intake pipe being therebetween is provided. The travel wind guide guides vehicle travel wind that is introduced into the engine compartment in a manner to cause the vehicle travel wind to flow along the intake pipe on the outer side of the separation wall.

Engine intake system

A suspension having a first link member that is coupled to a front wheel and a second link member that is located on a rear side of the first link member is mounted to a suspension housing. The suspension housing has a first supporting part that supports the first link member and a second supporting part that is provided on a rear side of the first supporting part and supports the second link member. The front frame has a first fixing portion to which the first supporting part is fixed and a second fixing portion to which the second supporting part is fixed, and the first fixing portion and the second fixing portion are provided at positions different from each other in a vehicle width direction.

Front vehicle body structure of vehicle

A front body structure of the vehicle includes a pair of left and right apron reinforcements, a pair of left and right front side frames, a pair of left and right suspension housings, and a sub-frame. The front body structure of the vehicle further includes a shroud upper that joins the front ends of the apron reinforcements, a pair of left and right shroud members that join the shroud upper and the front ends of the front side frames, and a pair of left and right front joint members that join the front ends of the front side frames and the sub-frame, in which the shroud members are joined to the upper surfaces and the side surfaces of the front side frames.

Front body structure of vehicle

A front body structure of the vehicle has a pair of left and right suspension housings provided in desired positions separated from the dash panel toward the vehicle front side. The front body structure of the vehicle further includes a first ring-shaped structural frame that passes through shroud members and is substantially ring-shaped in front view, a second ring-shaped structural frame that passes through the suspension housings and is substantially ring-shaped in front view, and a third ring-shaped structural frame that passes through hinge pillars and is substantially ring-shaped in front view, in which these ring-shaped structural frames are joined to each other by apron reinforcements, front side frames, and side members of the sub-frame.

A suspension housing which is provided at a front part of a vehicle and to which a suspension is mounted has a first fixed portion and a second fixed portion that are provided at positions separated from each other in a front-rear direction and each fixed to a front frame. The suspension housing further has, at a position between the first fixed portion and the second fixed portion in the front-rear direction, a buckling promoting portion that promotes buckling of the suspension housing when a load is applied from the front frame to the suspension housing in the front-rear direction.

The front vehicle-body structure includes: a hinge pillar extending vertically; a suspension housing spaced forward from the hinge pillar; an apron reinforcement that extends forward from an upper part of the hinge pillar, has a closed section perpendicular to a front-rear direction, and supports the suspension housing; a bracing reinforcement that extends rearward to be inclined downward so as to couple a lower part of the apron reinforcement and the hinge pillar in a bracing manner, and has a closed section perpendicular to a direction of the extension; and a first reinforcing member that is provided inside the closed section of the apron reinforcement and partitions the closed section in the front-rear direction. The bracing reinforcement includes, at a bottom thereof, a wheel well outer rear part extending rearward to be inclined downward, and the first reinforcing member is connected to the wheel well outer rear part.

Front vehicle-body structure

A front body structure of the vehicle includes a pair of left and right rear joint members that join front side frames and the sub-frame in a vehicle up-down direction in substantially the same positions in a vehicle front-rear direction as rear reinforcing parts of the suspension housings, and third link members that separate internal spaces of the front side frames in substantially the same positions in the vehicle front-rear direction as the upper ends of rear joint members. The front body structure further includes a tower bar that joins a cowl box and the rear reinforcing parts of the suspension housings.

A rear vehicle-body structure of a vehicle comprises a wheel house provided at a side face portion of a vehicle-body rear portion, a side frame extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction on an inward side, in a vehicle width direction, of the wheel house, a suspension comprising a damper provided to extend in a vehicle vertical direction for damping a vertical load inputted from a wheel thereto and a bump stopper provided on a shaft center of the damper, and a suspension housing including a support face portion for supporting the damper and provided to connect the side frame and the wheel house, wherein the suspension housing comprises a peripheral wall portion which is provided to extend downward from the support face portion and enclose the bump stopper at least partially.

Rear vehicle-body structure of vehicle

A rear vehicle-body structure of a vehicle comprises a wheel house, a side frame, a suspension comprising a damper and a spring, and a suspension housing connecting the side frame and the wheel house. The suspension housing includes a supporting part for supporting the damper and a spring receiving part for supporting an upper end portion of the spring at a position located on an outward side, in a vehicle width direction, of the side frame and on an upward side, in a vehicle vertical direction, of a lower end of the side frame. Further, connection portions connecting, in the vehicle vertical direction, the side frame and the spring receiving part are provided on a downward side, in the vehicle vertical direction, of the spring receiving part.

A vehicle front body structure includes: a dash panel; an apron reinforcement extending forward on an outside in the vehicle width direction of an engine room; a suspension housing coupled to the apron reinforcement in front of the dash panel; a cowl side panel extending in a front-rear direction between a rear portion of the suspension housing and the dash panel in side view of the vehicle, the cowl side panelconstituting a wall portion on the outside in the vehicle width direction of the engine room; and a first reinforcing member dividing a space surrounded by the apron reinforcement and the cowl side panel back and forth.

Vehicle front body structure

A rear vehicle-body structure of a vehicle comprises a wheel house, a side frame, a suspension comprising a damper, and a suspension housing connecting the side frame and the wheel house. The suspension housing includes a support face portion for supporting the damper, a level floor portion which extends outward from its connection portion to the side frame, and a vertical wall portion which extends upward from an outward-side edge portion, in a vehicle width direction, of the level floor portion up to an inward-side edge portion, in the vehicle width direction, of the support face portion.

A front vehicle body comprises a front frame having a closed cross-section, an apron reinforcement, a suspension housing, and first and second bulkheads arranged in the closed cross-section of the front frame. The suspension housing comprises first and second open cross-sections extending in a vehicle width direction and interconnecting the front frame and the apron reinforcement. The first and second open cross-sections include front ridgeline portions which are a high-rigidity portion extending in the vehicle width direction. The first and second bulkheads are arranged in the closed cross-section and located at or near positions which are continuous to lower ends of the front ridgeline portions.
