It is an object of the present invention to provide a lower half body module of a bipedal walking robot which is excellent in practicality in the point that it is possible to transport a heavy load, and which is excellent in the degree of freedom in designing in the point that it is possible to mount or incorporate an upper half body having a large weight. Therefore, this is why legs of the lower half body module are constituted by a parallel link mechanism to sustain a large load. The lower half body module () of the present invention includes a base (), a right foot () and a left foot (), a plurality of passive joints () which are respectively provided on the base (), the right foot () and the left foot (), and parallel link mechanism portions () which are respectively provided between the passive joint () provided on the base () and the passive joints () provided on the right foot () and between the passive joint () provided on the base () and the passive joints () provided on the left foot ().

Lower half body module of bipedal walking robot

Provided is a fire-fighting robot that can quickly start to fight a fire occurring at a hazardous location, which firefighters cannot access, and extinguish fires occurring at any location without receiving a supply of fire extinguishing water. The fire-fighting robot () of the present invention is self-propelled and remote-controlled via wireless or mobile communications to fight a fire. The robot includes one or more fire extinguisher storage portions () for storing fire extinguishers () which provide a jet of a fire-fighting agent from a jet outlet () by depressing a lever, a jet control portion disposed in the fire extinguisher storage portion () for depressing the lever, and a jet outlet securing portion () for detachably securing the jet outlet () of the fire extinguisher ().

Fire-fighting robot

A manipulator is provided whose drive transmission is carried out by using flexible tubes into which wire cables are inserted, drive portions are disposed at an appointed portion other than the manipulator, and respective joints are operated by the respective drive portions, wherein working efficiency and productivity are excellent. A manipulator is provided including joint portions and moving and rotating mechanisms which move and rotate the above joint portions, wherein the moving and rotating mechanism is provided with pulleys disposed at the joints, an endless wire which is rotated by motors each disposed at an appointed position of the supporting base and has an appointed portion fixed at the pulley, and a flexible tube having one end fixed in the vicinity of the side of the pulley and the other fixed in the vicinity of the motor, into which the wire is inserted, and one of the motors is disposed for one of the pulleys.

Manipulator

The invention has an object to provide a robot remote controlling apparatus that can easily and comfortably carry out operations at the finger portion operating portion and arm portion operating portion and can easily and comfortably carry out operations at other parts than at the above-described operating portions. The robot remote controlling apparatus includes a rack that accommodates said computer apparatus excluding a display and an input device , and at the same time, that mounts the display ; an up and down moving arm that is rotatably disposed on said rack and whose tip end portion can move up and down; a supporting section rotatably disposed on said tip end portion, which detects a turning angle with respect to said tip end portion as a left and right turning angle of a head portion, and detects a turning angle of a roller disposed on the upper surface thereof as an up and down turning angle of the head portion, and in which said input device is disposed at the front side thereof, and said left and right upper limb portion operating portions are disposed at the left and right sides thereof; and an independent box-shaped leg operating section on which said fuselage operating portion is disposed.

The invention is to provide a finger operating apparatus by which operations of a robot apparatus can be easily carried out comfortably, wherein the finger operating joystick includes a joystick shaft rotatably attached to the signal reaction generator ; a roughly cylindrical body attached onto the upper part of the joystick shaft; a tongue-shaped thumb flexing instruction portion , which rotatably attached to the side of the cylinder body; a rectangular projection forefinger flexing instruction portion , which attached at the front upper part of the cylindrical body so as to freely advance and retreat; and a rectangular projection middle finger flexing instruction portion , attached at the front lower part of the cylindrical body so as to freely advance and retreat; and wherein the signal reaction generator includes the first, second and third detectors which detect movements of the first, second and third wires in line with rotation of the thumb flexing instruction portion, advance and retreat of the forefinger flexing instruction portion, and advance and retreat of the middle finger flexing instruction portion; and a wrist rotation detector which detects the rotation of the joystick shaft.
