The present invention relates to a fluid catalytic cracking additive composition for cracking of heavy hydrocarbon feed stocks and process for preparing the additive. The additive is suitable for enhancing yields of light olefins such as propylene, isobutylene, LPG and reduces the bottom yields. The invention specifically relates to a fluid catalytic cracking additive composition comprising a pentasil zeolite, zeolites having pore size in a range of 5.4-7.7 &#x212b;, alumina, colloidal silica, kaolin clay, and phosphate, wherein the zeolites having pore size in the range of 5.4-7.7 &#x212b; is present in an amount of 1 to 10 wt % with respect to the total amount of the pentasil zeolite and zeolite having the pore size in the range of 5.4-7.7 &#x212b;.

Composition and process for preparation of cracking catalyst suitable for enhancing yields of light olefins

The present invention relates to a Cracking Catalyst composition for cracking of heavy hydrocarbon feed stocks and process for preparing the catalyst. The catalyst is prepared by incorporating 1-10 wt % phosphate treated USY zeolite in which phosphate is present in the range of 10 to 50 wt % on the basis of phosphated zeolite, in a mixture of 10-50 wt % dispersible alumina, 0-30 wt % non-dispersal alumina, 5-30 wt % colloidal silica, 15-50 wt % clay and 5-15 wt % phosphate.

Cracking catalyst composition for cracking of heavy hydrocarbon feed stocks and process for preparing the same

The present invention relates to a catalyst additive composition suitable for fluid cracking, riser cracking and fixed bed cracking with reduction in bottom and coke, wherein the aluminosilicate and silica-alumina is generated in situ from added clay and silica. The present invention is also directed towards the preparation of the said catalyst additive composition. The invention also discloses a process for cracking of heavy hydrocarbons using the said catalyst additive.

The present invention provides an adsorbent for removal of con-carbon and contaminant metals in feed, said adsorbent composition consisting of clay in the range of 30-70 wt. % and silica in the range of 70-30 wt. %, wherein the adsorbent has a pore volume in the range of 0.25-0.45 cc/gm; a pore size in the range of 20 to 2000 &#x212b; and a bi-modal pore size distribution characteristics, with a maximum of about 32% of the adsorbent having a pore size in the range of 20-200 &#x212b; and a minimum of about 68% of the adsorbent having a pore size in the range of 200-2000 &#x212b;. The present disclosure provides a ready-to-use seed composition water, a source of silica, a source of alumina, and Na0, wherein the molar ratio of H20:Na20 ranges from 5 to 20, Na20:SiO2 ranges from 0.4 to 5 and SiO2:Al203 ranges from 1.3 to 5 used in the preparation of a synthetic faujasite zeolite which has high thermal stability and higher crystallite size. It further provides a process for preparing the ready-to-use seed composition for preparation of synthetic faujasite zeolite that requires lower crystallization time. The present disclosure provides a seed composition that does not require maturing time and a reaction gel composition that has low water and soda content. The present disclosure further provides a process for the preparation of synthetic faujasite zeolite by blending seed and reaction gel reaction composition to form a seed gel composition and subjecting it to crystallization.

The present invention relates to a cracking catalyst composition for cracking heavy hydrocarbon and processes for preparing the catalyst. The process can include treating zeolite with sodium free basic compound with or without phosphate, treating an alumina with a dilute acid, acidifying a colloidal silica, preparing a fine slurry of clay with a source of phosphate, adding alumina slurry and/or acidified colloidal silica to clay phosphate slurry, adding treated zeolite and spray-drying the slurry and calcining the same to obtain a cracking catalyst having adequate ABD and attrition resistance property.
