A base station clustering method, the method including a clustering server clustering base stations in a base station set managed by the clustering server, to obtain at least one cluster, determining a cluster with a quantity of base stations in the cluster being 1, determining a neighboring base station of the base station in the cluster, and adding, when the neighboring base station is a cluster-head base station, the base station as a cluster-member base station to a cluster to which the neighboring base station belongs, so that the separately clustered base station can be added to another cluster, and a cluster-head base station in the another cluster can control a working status of the base station.

Base station clustering method, base station control method, and apparatus

A wireless communication method utilizes a large-scale antenna array, which is deployed at the base station and can be a one-dimensional or two-dimensional array and can form tens of beams over the area covered by the base station. The communications method utilizes beam domain division of spatial resources at the base station side utilizing an analog multi-beam forming network or a digital domain multi-beam forming method. The base station carries out wireless communication with multiple users with the same time frequency resource and with the communications process implemented in the beam domain. Scheduling is accomplished through the utilization of a deterministic unitary matrix to form beams. The unitary matrix is a correlation matrix of interference that includes a channel characteristics mode energy coupling matrix, the beam allocation providing beam sets of different users that are non-overlapping to distinguish users in the beam domain.

Wireless communication method utilizing a large-scale antenna array

A Space Division Multiple Access transmission method based on a statistical characteristic pattern including configuring multiple receiving and transmitting antennae at a base station side into one or more antenna arrays; comparing a diagonalization performance among the unitary matrixes for a correlation matrix of subscriber channels, with a long-time statistical correlation matrix of the subscriber channels at the base station side; calculating an optimal diagonalized correlation matrix, and then performing characteristic pattern clustering for the subscribers in a cell with the space resource divisions of the subscribers; grouping the subscribers that belong to a same characteristic pattern cluster into space division subscriber groups; carrying out SDMA transmission, by the subscribers in a same space division subscriber group, with their space resource divisions; dynamically performing subscriber characteristic pattern clustering and space division subscriber grouping described above to generate updated characteristic pattern clusters for the subscribers and updated space division subscriber groups.

A pilot and channel estimation method for SDMA MIMO transmission downlink is provided in the present invention, and the method provides possibility for saving the orthogonal pilot resources; the pilot signals of different users in the transmitting antenna domain can occupy the same time-frequency resources, and thereby the pilot overhead of system resources can be reduced greatly; the method includes: for the MIMO transmission downlink that employs pre-coding for SDMA, taking the quantity of orthogonal pilot resources occupied by the users in the pre-coding domain as the number of data streams that can be transmitted or the number of spatial dimensions occupied first, at the transmitting end of the base station; then, performing SDMA transmission pre-coding for the orthogonal pilots in the pre-coding domain in the same way as the data signals, to obtain the pilot signals of the users in the transmitting antenna domain; wherein, the pilots of the users in the pre-coding domain can be orthogonal in the frequency domain or code domain, and the pilots of different users in the pre-coding domain can be identical or not identical to each other; the pilot signals of different users in the transmitting antenna domain can occupy the same time-frequency resources.
