A power distribution device and a server rack system are provided. The server rack system includes a rack and at least one apparatus disposed therein. The power distribution device distributes electrical power to the apparatus. The power supply device includes a first conducting plate, an insulation layer and a second conducting plate that are sequentially superimposed, and a first and a second power columns inserted in the first and the second plates. The insulation layer is disposed between the first and the second conducting plates. The first and the second power columns are connected to a power supply unit in the rack to obtain electric power therefrom. Each output pin pair includes a first and a second output pins inserted in the first and the second conducting plates. The output pin pairs are connected to the apparatus in the rack to transfer electric power to the apparatus.

Power distribution device and server rack system using the same

A server includes a rack, at least one server unit, at least one communication exchange unit, at least one rack control unit and an electric power transmission unit. The rack has a plurality of shelving spaces. The server unit, the communication exchange unit, and the rack control unit are moved into or moved out of a corresponding shelving space along a horizontal axis, respectively. The server unit is communicatively connected to the communication exchange unit, and communicates with the rack control unit through the communication exchange unit. The electric power transmission unit is disposed in the rack and runs adjacent to the shelving spaces along a vertical axis. After the server unit, the communication exchange unit and the rack control unit are moved into corresponding shelving spaces, the server unit, the communication exchange unit and the rack control unit are electrically connected to the electric power transmission unit.

Server

An electronic device includes a chassis, a main board module and an electrically connecting module. The chassis is slidably disposed in a rack. The rack has an electrically connecting terminal. The main board module is disposed in the chassis. The electrically connecting module includes a circuit board and a first connector. The circuit board has a first connecting end corresponding to the main board module and a second connecting end corresponding to the rack. The first connecting end is electrically connected to the main board module. The first connector is disposed on the circuit board and electrically connected to the second connecting end. When the chassis is in the rack, the first connector is electrically connected to the rack. When the chassis is pulled out from the rack, the first connector is moved with the chassis such that the electrical connection between the first connector and the rack is terminated.

Electronic device

A server rack system includes a rack and a network board card. The rack includes rack layer type spaces arranged along a vertical axis direction. The rack layer type spaces are used for receiving a network switch unit and a server unit slidably inserted along a horizontal axis direction. The network board card is disposed along the vertical axis direction and between the top and the bottom of the rack. The network board card includes network interfaces. The network interfaces are arranged along the vertical axis direction on the network board card. The network interfaces include a first type network interface used for being connected to the network switch unit and a second type network interface used for being connected to the server unit. The first type network interface is connected to the second type network interface by an integrated circuit deployed in the network board card.

Server rack system

A server rack system includes a rack, a power transmission module, a power supply module, and operating units. The power transmission module configured at the rack includes first, second, and third conductive pillars. When the power supply module slidably configured in the rack is completely installed in the rack, the power supply module electrically connects the first, second, and third conductive pillars to receive high-voltage direct-current (DC) electric power through the first conductive pillar electrically connecting an external power supply. When the operating units slidably configured in the rack are completely installed in the rack, the operating units electrically connect the second and third conductive pillars. The completely installed operating units transmit signals indicating the complete installation to the power supply module, such that the power supply module converts the high-voltage DC electric power into low-voltage DC electric power and transmits the low-voltage DC electric power to the operating units.

An electrically connecting module suitable for an electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a chassis disposed in a rack. The rack has an electrically connecting terminal. The electrically connecting module includes a shell, an adjustable position-limiting element, a circuit board and a connector. The adjustable position-limiting element connects the shell to the chassis. The shell is able to move relatively to the chassis. The circuit board is disposed in the shell. The connector is disposed on the circuit board and electrically connected to the circuit board. When the chassis enters the rack, the electrically connecting terminal presses the shell to adjust the position of the shell, such that the connector is connected to the electrically connecting terminal. When the chassis is pulled out from the rack, the connector is moved with the chassis such that the connection between the connector and the rack is terminated.

Electrically connecting module

A server rack system includes a rack, servers, and a heat-dissipating wall. The rack has guiding rails, a front end, and a rear end opposite to the front end. The servers slidably configured on the guiding rails and in the rack are adapted for being moved into or out of the rack from the front end. The heat-dissipating wall is pivoted to the rear end and adapted for being folded against or unfolded away from the rear end. The heat-dissipating wall includes a fan wall. Fans lie on the fan wall. The fans are adapted for sucking cool air, such that the cool air enters the rack from the front end and passes through the servers. Heat exchange between the cool air and the servers is carried out to generate hot air that flows out of the rack through the heat-dissipating wall to dissipate heat of the servers.

A server rack includes a rack body and fan modules. The rack body has front and back surfaces. Server units are disposed in the rack body. The fan modules are arranged on the back side along a vertical direction. Each fan module corresponds to several server units and includes a fan case and fan units. The fan case assembled to the back side is independently electrically connected to the rack body and suitable for being independently detached from the rack body. The fan units are detachably assembled to the fan case and arranged on the fan case along a horizontal direction. Each fan unit is independently electrically connected to the fan case and suitable for being independently detached from the fan case along a first direction perpendicular to the back surface or independently assembled to the fan case along a second direction opposite to the first direction.

Server rack

A handle structure suitable for disposing on a surface of a carrier is provided. The carrier has a locating part is assemble to a case. The handle structure includes a holder, an elastic element and a fastening element. The holder has a rotating axis and a locating element, and has a first end and a second end opposite thereto. The rotating axis connecting to the carrier is disposed on the first end, and the holder is pivoted on the surface. The locating element disposed on the first end interferes with the locating part. The elastic element has a first fixing part fixed to the carrier and a pushing part connected to the first fixing part and pushing against the holder. The fastening element has a second fixing part fixed to the carrier and a fastening part connected to the second fixing part and fastened to the second end.

Handle structure

A storage server includes a case, an adapter board, a control board module, a power supply module, a plurality of hard disk units, a plurality of dividing boards, and a case cover. The adapter board divides the case into a first space and a second space. The control board module and the power supply module are disposed in the first space and electrically connected to the adapter board. The hard disk units are disposed in the second space, and the hard disk backboards thereof are connected to the adapter board via cables. The dividing boards are used to separate the hard disk units. The second space and the hard disk units disposed therein are covered with the case cover.

Storage

A blade server module applicable to be inserted into a blade server system. The blade server module includes a motherboard tray having a first connector, a motherboard, an extension dock and an adaptor card having a second connector corresponding to the first connector and electrically connect to the first connector via a cable so as to connect the motherboard and the adaptor card. Compared with prior arts, since utilization of the cable, the blade server module is not restricted by smaller motherboard and more and more concentrative electronic elements. Since arrangement of the cable does not occupy space of the motherboard and connects the motherboard and the adaptor card integrally, signals of the motherboard output via the adaptor card and then link the inserted blade server system. Hence the blade server module of the present invention efficiently decreases overall manufacturing cost and its occupation volume.

Blade server module

A server device with a storage array module is provided. The server device includes a chassis, a motherboard module, and a storage array module. The motherboard module and the storage array module are disposed in the chassis. The storage array module includes a first tray removably disposed in the chassis, a hard disk back panel fixed to a bottom of the first tray, and several hard disks hot-pluggably disposed in the first tray. The hard disk back panel is electrically connected to the motherboard module, and the hard disks are electrically connected to the hard disk back panel and driven to move into/out the chassis with the first tray.

Server device with a storage array module

A motherboard module adapted for connecting pluggably to a case includes a tray, a motherboard, a hard disk cage, and at least one hard disk drive. The tray has a bottom board, a plurality of fixing portions, and a front board. The front board is disposed at a side of the bottom board. The motherboard is disposed on the bottom board. The hard disk cage is fixedly connected to the fixing portions and above the tray, and has a hole corresponding to a hole of the front board. The hard disk drive may be disposed pluggably in the cage.

Motherboard module

A case of server includes a chassis, a first top cover, a second top cover, at least a first tray, at least a second tray, an input/output interface circuit board, a mother board, and a third top cover. The first and the second top covers are fixed at two sides of the chassis, where an opening is formed therebetween. The first and the second trays are slidingly disposed at the chassis. The first and the second trays are correspondingly under the second top cover and the first top cover respectively. The input/output circuit boards are disposed on the first trays and the mother boards are disposed on the second trays. The third top cover is located between the first and the second top covers for covering the opening. When the third top cover is detached from the chassis, the electronic components disposed therein can be taken out from the opening.

Case of server

A sever including a chassis, at least one first tray, at least one second tray, a power supply module, multiple input/output interface circuit boards, and multiple mother boards is provided. The first and second trays are slidably disposed in the chassis, and the first and second trays can be drawn out of the chassis in opposite directions. The power supply module is disposed on a bottom plate of the chassis. The input/output interface circuit boards are disposed on the first tray, respectively. The power supply module is located between two input/output interface circuit boards. Each input/output interface circuit board has multiple input/output interfaces. The mother boards are disposed on the second trays, respectively. The input/output interface circuit boards and the power supply module are correspondingly electrically connected to the mother boards.
