System and method for monetizing advertising in a gaming or virtual system

A system includes a base station and a server. The server includes a communication interface, a memory, and an electronic processor communicatively connected to the memory. The communication interface is configured to communicate with one or more base stations including the base station. The electronic processor is configured to receive location information of a third-party communication device that has received interference, determine whether the third-party communication device is located within a threshold distance from the base station based on a first interference radius associated with the base station, and output one or more resolution options to resolve interference between the base station and the third-party communication device in response to determining that the third-party communication device is located within the threshold distance from the base station.

A system and method for identifying wireless communication assets is provided. Embodiments may include providing, on a graphical user interface (GUI), an interactive map in a first window of the GUI. Embodiments may also include defining, on the GUI, a user-defined search area on the interactive map. In some embodiments, the user-defined search area defined on the interactive map may define at least a portion of a geographic region. Embodiments may further include identifying, on the GUI, one or more wireless communication assets and a location of each of the one or more wireless communication assets within the user-defined search area on the interactive map. In some embodiments, each wireless communication asset may be capable of supporting at least one wireless communication device and the locations of each wireless communication asset on the interactive map may relate to a physical location of each wireless communication asset.

System and method for identifying wireless communication assets

Systems and methods for priority wireless communications are provided. When a priority mobile station is registered with a wireless communication network, one or more base stations can establish a priority control channel for serving the priority mobile station. The priority control channel can be an uplink control channel for sending call setup requests, such as traffic channel allocations. The priority control channel can also be a downlink control channel for sending information to priority mobile stations.

System and method for priority wireless access

Systems and methods for handover of a mobile station to a base station are provided. Handover criteria for determining which base station to handover to is different for different candidate base stations. This difference can account for base station loading and/or environmental factors. The handover criteria can include a threshold and hysteresis value. A wireless communication system can employ a fixed threshold and hysteresis value for all base stations, and these fixed values are adjusted differently for different candidate base stations.
