The present invention relates to the use of substituted pyrazole derivatives to modulate tropomyosin-related kinase (Trk) family protein kinase, and the use of the substituted pyrazole derivatives for the treatment of pain, inflammation, cancer, restenosis, atherosclerosis, psoriasis, thrombosis, a disease, disorder, injury, or malfunction relating to dysmyelination or demyelination or a disease or disorder associated with abnormal activities of nerve growth factor (NGF) receptor TrkA.

Trk inhibition

A container storing a liquid anesthetic solution is disclosed. The container is sealed by a closure, and the liquid anesthetic solution includes an anesthetic being from 0.1% to 10% by weight of the liquid anesthetic solution, water, and a solvent. The container includes a material that is inert to the anesthetic, and the closure includes siliconized rubber, a fluoropolymer, or metal that is inert to the anesthetic. The concentration of the anesthetic in the liquid anesthetic solution stored in the container following a predetermined time period is at least 93% of a concentration of the anesthetic in the liquid anesthetic solution before the liquid anesthetic solution is stored in the container.

Propofol formulations with non-reactive container closures

A pre-filled syringe storing an anesthetic is disclosed. The pre-filled syringe includes a container configured to store a liquid anesthetic solution. The liquid anesthetic solution includes an anesthetic, water, and a solvent. The container is made of a plastic that is inert to the anesthetic. The pre-filled syringe also includes a plunger made of siliconized bromobutyl rubber that is inert to the anesthetic and a rubber stopper made of siliconized bromobutyl rubber that is inert to the anesthetic. The plunger and the rubber stopper seal the container configured to store the liquid anesthetic solution.

A sterile pharmaceutical composition for parenteral administration of propofol, said composition comprising propofol, optionally albumin, and less than about 10% by weight solvent for propofol, wherein said composition is stored in a container having a closure wherein said closure is inert to propofol.
