A disinfectant wipe is provided including a substrate that is substantially free of polyamides, and an acid anionic disinfectant is adsorbed to the substrate such that the disinfectant readily releases from the substrate to allow at least 65% delivery of the disinfectant when wiped on a surface. The substrate may be a woven, nonwoven, knit fabric, a foam, sponge or film composition and may be formed from polyester, polypropylene, nylon, cotton, rayon, acrylic, or combinations thereof. The acid anionic disinfectant has a pH below 7, below 5, below 3 and below 2. The substrate used to prepare the disinfectant wipe is not pretreated with the disinfectant or a release composition before applying the disinfectant. That is, the disinfectant is not applied and re-applied to ensure release onto a surface. In an embodiment of the invention acid anionic disinfectant is an antimicrobial agent.

Non-sorptive or minimally sorptive disinfectant wipes

An antimicrobial wipe is provided including a textile comprised of natural fibers untreated with a chemical bonding agent, the textile is treated with an antimicrobial composition, the antimicrobial composition comprising a quaternary ammonium compound and an organic acid, wherein the antimicrobial composition is surfactant free, emollient free, and polymeric free. A method of preparing such wipes is also provided.

A system and method for treating items suspected of insect infestation is described. The items are placed in a treatment space inside a treatment container together with a composition comprising one or more volatile components with insecticidal activity. The composition is applied to an absorbent material capable of containing the composition in a treatment amount; and the absorbent material and the composition are enclosed in a diffuser container with perforations covering about 1 to 30% of a surface area of the walls that allow diffusion of the one or more volatile components into the treatment space.

The present disclosure generally relates to a color indicator that signals when the concentration of an antimicrobial solution changes. In some embodiments, the color indicator is specific for changes in the concentration of an antimicrobial quaternary ammonium compound in an antimicrobial solution. A fluid product dispenser is sized to removably receive a product package containing a supply of the fluid product. The product package includes an internally integrated fluid pump, and the dispenser includes a drive unit powered by flow of a fluid. Flow of the fluid powers the drive unit, which in turn drives the pump internal to the product package, resulting in dispensation of the fluid product in a product/fluid ratio that is independent of the fluid flow rate.

A dilute chemical solution may be prepared in response to a dispense request by combining multiple concentrated chemicals with a diluent. In one example, a target amount of diluent is dispensed into a container until a measured weight of the diluent reaches a target weight. A first concentrated chemical is also dispensed into the container until a measured weight of the first concentrated chemical reaches a target weight. The liquid solution containing the diluent and the first concentrated chemical is withdrawn from the container and applied on a second concentrated chemical that is a solid state product so as to cause the second concentrated chemical to at least partially dissolve and enter the container. In some applications, the first and second concentrated chemicals react with one another to generate an active molecule in the chemical solution that is not present in either of the two concentrated chemicals.

A chemical product dispenser includes one or more timing features. The chemical product may include cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting, or other chemical products typically dispensed using a conventional spray bottle or other chemical product applicator used in the cleaning industry. The timed dispenser includes a timer and one or more indicators that are activated when one or more predetermined periods of time (such as a contact time or cure time) have elapsed. A timed dispenser audit system further monitors and analyzes use of the timed dispensers throughout one or more facilities, and may generate reports based on the analysis.

A solid chemical product is dispensed to prepare a requested amount of a use solution having a requested concentration of the chemical product. In some examples, a target amount of a diluent and a target amount of the chemical product required to prepare the requested use solution are determined. The target amount of the diluent is dispensed into a container. At least some of the diluent in the container is applied to the solid chemical product to create a resultant use solution, which is directed back into the container. The diluent from the container is applied to the chemical product until the amount of the use solution in the container satisfies the requested amount. In some examples, the target amount of the diluent and the target amount of the chemical product are measured by weight.

The dispensing device is configured and arranged to pass product out of a dispensing orifice in the product dispensing system. The sealing assembly is configured and arranged to wipe and seal the dispensing orifice to prevent exposure of unused product with ambient air when the product dispensing system is not dispensing product.
