A signal processing chip includes: a receiving module, configured to receive a WLAN analog baseband signal from a baseband chip; an analog-to-digital conversion module, configured to convert the WLAN analog baseband signal into a WLAN digital baseband signal; a processing module, configured to process the WLAN digital baseband signal into a WLAN analog intermediate frequency signal; and a sending module, configured to send the WLAN analog intermediate frequency signal to a radio frequency processing apparatus.

A WLAN baseband chip and an FDMA PPDU generation method are disclosed. The WLAN baseband chip obtains a subcarrier coefficient corresponding to a subcarrier set, m LDR SYNC sequences, and n&#x2212;m HDR SYNC sequences. The WLAN baseband chip performs duplicating processing on m data streams in n data streams, to obtain m data sequences on which the duplicating processing has been performed and n&#x2212;m remaining data streams. The WLAN baseband chip obtains m pieces of to-be-modulated data based on the m LDR SYNC sequences and the m data sequences on which the duplicating processing has been performed, and obtains n&#x2212;m pieces of to-be-modulated data based on the n&#x2212;m HDR SYNC sequences and the n&#x2212;m remaining data streams, to obtain n pieces of to-be-modulated data. A method for replying with an acknowledgement frame includes: calculating, by an access point (AP), sending duration of a physical layer service data unit (PSDU) in a to-be-sent downlink physical layer protocol data unit (downlink PPDU) based on a format and a sending rate that are of the downlink PPDU and based on only that a length of each block acknowledgement bitmap field in a block acknowledgement frame in the downlink PPDU is a maximum quantity of bytes that is of each respective block acknowledgement bitmap field of the plurality of stations (STAs), to generate an legacy signal field of a second preamble; and generating, by the AP, the block acknowledgement frame, where each STA information subfield in a block acknowledgement information field of the block acknowledgement frame includes an association identifier traffic identifier field, a block acknowledgement starting sequence control field, and a block acknowledgement bitmap field.
