Provided in the embodiments of the disclosure are a common voltage control circuit and method, a display panel and a display device. The control circuit includes a temperature sensing circuit and a voltage adjusting circuit. The temperature sensing circuit is configured to sense the ambient temperature. The voltage adjusting circuit is coupled to the temperature sensing circuit and the common electrode, and is configured to provide a corresponding common voltage to the common electrode based on a temperature signal from the temperature sensing circuit. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, the common voltage may be changed according to the ambient temperature to improve the image sticking.

Common voltage control circuit and method, display panel and display device

A method for adjusting a backlight and a device for adjusting a backlight are provided. A parameter may be set as one of detectable physical quantities of the backlight. The physical quantity, for example, may be a current through a light emitting device, brightness of the light emitting device, or the like. An average value of the parameter is obtained according to values of the parameter which are detected in real time. When the average value is beyond a preset parameter range, a value of the voltage which is input to the light emitting device is adjusted, so that the current through the light emitting device is adjusted, and brightness of the backlight is adjusted. Thereby, brightness of the backlight can be adjusted in different ways, so that brightness of the backlight can be stable in different environments.

Method and device for adjusting a backlight

The present application discloses a method for displaying image using a display panel. The method includes receiving a frame of image data, which is divided into a first portion and a second portion based on that each sub-pixel in the first portion has an initial grayscale value smaller than that of each subpixel in the second portion. The method includes converting the frame of image data into N frames of image data. Each sub-pixel in the first portion is provided with a first grayscale value in K of the N frames and a second grayscale value in N-K of the N frames, and each sub-pixel in the second portion is retained with its initial grayscale value. N is no smaller than 2 and K varies from 1 to N&#x2212;1. The method includes displaying each of the N frames of images respectively based on the N frames of image data according to a frame refreshing frequency.

The present invention provides a rearview mirror comprising a panel and a control circuit, a first substrate in the panel is provided with a planar transparent electrode layer, a second substrate is provided with a transparent hydrophobic material layer and multiple block electrodes, a side of the transparent hydrophobic material layer facing the first substrate is provided with multiple cells, lightproof electro-wetting ink is provided within each cell, the block electrodes are provided on a side of the transparent hydrophobic material layer away from the first substrate and can at least reflect part of light entering the rearview mirror from first substrate side, the control circuit is configured to control area of each cell covered by the electro-wetting ink in the cell by controlling a change in intensity of the electric field between the planar transparent electrode layer and the block electrodes.
