A display apparatus is adapted to display on at least one of a first display surface and a second display surface, and includes a display panel, an optical path selection module, and at least one reflective element. The display panel is provided with the first display surface, and is adapted to emit an image beam. The optical path selection module is disposed on a transmission path of the image beam. The image beam transmitted along a first optical path after passing through the optical path selection module is adapted to display a first image on the first display surface. The image beam transmitted along a second optical path after passing through the optical path selection module is adapted to display a second image on the second display surface. The first image is different from the second image. The at least one reflective element is disposed on the second optical path.

Display apparatus

A micro-LED display includes a first LED subpixel, a second LED subpixel, a third LED subpixel and a fourth LED subpixel. The first LED subpixel is configured to emit a red light. The second LED subpixel is configured to emit a green light. The third LED subpixel is configured to emit a blue light. The fourth LED subpixel is configured to emit a yellow light, in which the yellow light emitted by the fourth LED subpixel has a peak wavelength that satisfies λ<λ. λis a lower limit of the peak wavelength of the yellow light, λis the peak wavelength of the yellow light.

Micro-led display and operation method thereof

A display device includes a substrate, touch antenna units and switch circuits. The touch antenna units are arrayed above the substrate, wherein each touch antenna unit includes a first loop electrode. The first loop electrode is completely located in a display area of the display device, and has a first end and a second end. Each of the switch circuits is electrically connected to the first end and the second end of the first loop electrode in a corresponding touch antenna unit.

Display device and driving method thereof

A display panel has a display area, a first wiring area, and a second wiring area, in which the display area is adjacent to the first and second wiring areas. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels, a first loop pattern, and a second loop pattern. The pixels are arranged within the display area. The first loop pattern is arranged within the display area and is located above the pixels. The first loop pattern includes a first wiring. The second loop pattern is arranged within the first wiring area and is located outside the second wiring area. The second loop pattern is electrically connected to the first loop pattern and includes a second wiring, in which the wiring width of the first wiring is smaller than the wiring width of the second wiring.

Display panel

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first metal mesh layer, a second metal mesh layer and an insulator. The first metal mesh layer is made up of a plurality of first electrode pattern units. The second metal mesh layer is disposed on one side of the first metal mesh layer, and is made up of a plurality of second electrode pattern units and a plurality of third electrode pattern units. The pattern of the second electrode pattern units and the pattern of the first electrode pattern units are at least partially identical in shape. The insulator is at least partially disposed between the first metal mesh layer and the second metal mesh layer. On a virtual projection surface parallel to the first metal mesh layer, a first vertical projection range projected from the shape of a first electrode pattern units distribution area and a second vertical projection range projected from the shape of a second electrode pattern units distribution area are staggered.

Electronic device

The present invention provides a display device, including a first display panel, a second display panel, and a plurality of first lenses. The first display panel has a light emitting surface and includes a plurality of first sub-pixels. Each of the first sub-pixels has a first sub-pixel width. The second display panel is located at one side of the light emitting surface of the first display panel and includes a plurality of second sub-pixels. Each of the second sub-pixels has a second sub-pixel width. The first lenses are disposed between the first display panel and the second display panel. Each of the first lenses has a first diameter, and the first diameter is smaller than the second sub-pixel width.

Display device

A display control method and a display system are provided. An image beam from a light-emitting display layer passes through a liquid crystal display layer to provide an image. The method includes: generating a plurality of second display signals respectively correspond to a plurality of subframes of a frame based on a first display signal, wherein the resolution of the second display signals is lower than that of the first display signal; performing brightness compensation on the first display signal to generate a third display signal; driving the light-emitting display layer according to the second display signals to emit the image beam in the corresponding subframe; and driving the liquid crystal display layer based on the third display signal such that a grayscale variation is generated to the image beam after the image beam passes through the liquid crystal display layer.

Display control method and display system

A display control method includes splitting an image signal into a plurality of input signal sets, generating a first color reformed data, a second color reformed data, a third color reformed data and a fourth color reformed data according to each input signal set, outputting the first color reformed data, the second color reformed data and the third color reformed data when a plurality of pixels corresponding to one input signal set is located at an odd row, and outputting the second color reformed data, the third color reformed data and the fourth color reformed data when the plurality of pixels corresponding to one input signal set is located at an even row. Each input signal set includes a plurality of input signals that correspond to a plurality of adjacent pixels.

Display control unit, display device, and display control method

A touch panel includes a substrate, a plurality of first electrode series, and a plurality of second electrode series. The substrate has a first surface. The first electrode series are disposed on the first surface. Each of the first electrode series extends along a first direction and includes a plurality of first electrodes. The second electrode series are disposed on the first surface. Each of the second electrode series extends along a second direction and includes a plurality of second electrodes.

First and second electrode optimization for a touch panel

A display apparatus and an image data processing method thereof are provided. The display apparatus includes a first display panel, a second display panel and a backlight module. The image processing method includes: receiving image data; detecting an ambient temperature and an ambient brightness to obtain a detection result; when the ambient temperature is lower than a preset temperature value, selecting the image data to be divided into a plurality block data by display location or gray level range according to the ambient brightness, and performing a blur process on the block data to generate adjusted image data; when the ambient temperature is not lower than the preset temperature value, performing a binary process on the image data to generate the adjusted image data; and driving the second display panel according to the adjust image data.

Display apparatus and image processing method thereof

A displaying method includes following steps: converting first image data into second image data; performing subpixel rendering on second image data to generate third image data; determining whether the first image data includes first pixel data having a gray brightness value which is not greater than a first threshold; determining whether a gray brightness value of second pixel data of the third image data corresponding to the first pixel data is greater than a second threshold; and converting the third image data into fourth image data. The second pixel data is corresponding to third pixel data in the fourth image data. The third pixel data include at least one first subpixel data having a gray brightness value smaller than the gray brightness value of the subpixel data of the third image data corresponding to the first subpixel data.

Displaying method and display with subpixel rendering

A pixel matrix having a plurality of pixel units. Each pixel unit has at least 12 sub-pixels arranged in matrix manner. The pixel unit has at least 4 first color sub-pixels, at least 4 second color sub-pixels, and at least 4 third color sub-pixels. Each two of the first color sub-pixels are arranged adjacent to each other to form at least 2 first color sub-pixel pairs, and the first color sub-pixel pairs are separately provided in different columns and different rows of the pixel unit. Each two of the second color sub-pixels are arranged adjacent to each other to form at least 2 second color sub-pixel pairs, and the second color sub-pixel pairs are separately provided in different columns and different rows of the pixel unit. Each first color sub-pixel pair and each second color sub-pixel pair are arranged adjacent to each other in a column direction.

Pixel matrix and display method thereof

A display apparatus includes a plurality of first pixel units and a plurality of second pixel units. Each of the first pixel units includes at least one first color sub-pixel, at least one second color sub-pixel, at least one third color sub-pixel and at least one fourth color sub-pixel arranged in a first configuration. Each of the second pixel units includes the at least one first color sub-pixel, the at least one second color sub-pixel, the at least one third color sub-pixel and the at least one fourth color sub-pixel arranged in a second configuration different from the first configuration. The first pixel units and the second pixel units are alternately disposed to make all of the pixel units adjacent to each of the first pixel units be the second pixel units, and all of the pixel units adjacent to each of the second pixel units be the first pixel units.

Display apparatus and display control method thereof

A pixel matrix includes pixel units. The pixel units are arranged in a repeating pattern, in which each of the pixel units includes transparent pixels, reflective pixels, and switch components. Each of the transparent pixels includes a transparent electrode and a transparent color resist layer disposed on the transparent electrode. Each of the reflective pixels includes a reflective electrode. The switch components are connected to the transparent electrodes of the transparent pixels and the reflective electrodes of the reflective pixels respectively for driving the transparent pixels and the reflective pixels individually.

Pixel matrix and display using the same

A flat panel display includes a four-color conversion unit, a backlight control unit, a backlight module, and a pixel array. The four-color conversion unit provides a first set of four color image signals corresponding to three color image input signals based on a preliminary conversion lookup table and provides corresponding conversion scaling factors. The backlight control unit generates a backlight adjusting factor based on the conversion scaling factors. The backlight module provides a backlight output having an intensity adjusted according to the backlight adjusting factor. The four-color conversion unit further provides a second set of four color image signals corresponding to the three color image input signals based on the backlight adjusting factor. The pixel array displays an image according to the second set of four color image signals and the backlight output.
