An optical imaging lens includes first, second, third, fourth and fifth lens elements arranged sequentially from an object side to an image side along an optical axis. The image-side surface of the first lens element comprises a concave portion in a vicinity of the optical axis. The present disclosure provides for various embodiments of optical imaging lenses. An optical imaging lens may comprise six lens elements positioned in an order from an object side to an image side. By controlling the convex or concave shape of the surfaces of the lens elements, the optical imaging lens may provide great view angle and proper length of the optical imaging lens and improve the imaging quality.

The present disclosure provides for various embodiments of optical imaging lenses. An optical imaging lens may comprise at least five lens elements positioned in an order from an object side to an image side. By controlling the convex or concave shape of the surfaces of the lens elements and designing parameters satisfying at least an inequality, the optical imaging lens may exhibit better optical characteristics, the total length of the optical imaging lens may be shortened, and the view angle and f-number may also be improved.

Each of the lens elements includes an object-side surface and an image-side surface. The second lens element has negative refracting power. The optical imaging lens satisfies following conditions: HFOV&#x2264;45&#xb0;; 2.000&#x2264;D1/D2, and TTL/T6&#x2264;6.300.

The first lens element has a positive refractive power. The image-side surface of the second lens element has a convex portion in a vicinity of the optical axis. The image-side surface of the third lens element has a convex portion in a vicinity of its periphery. The image-side surface of the fourth lens element has a convex portion in a vicinity of the optical axis. The image-side surface of the fifth lens element has a concave portion in a vicinity of the optical axis and a convex portion in a vicinity of its periphery.
