A receptacle connector device for electrical vehicle use in accordance with the present invention is disposed at a battery terminal of an electric vehicle and is connected to a plug connector in a charging station. The receptacle connector comprises an insulating body and a plurality of conducting elements. The insulating body is made of waterproof plastic materials and the plurality of the conducting elements are made of metal materials. The insulating body has a plurality of concentric circular grooves and a transverse portion. The plurality of the conducting elements are respectively disposed in the plurality of the concentric circular grooves, characterized in that: each of the plurality of the conducting elements forms a rough surface, thereby to enlarge contact area between the plurality of the conducting elements and the insulating body in moulding process for firm combination of plastic and metal materials.

Receptacle connector device for electric vehicle use

An electrical connector includes a main body mounted to the circuit board, a shielding plate assembly fastened to the main body, and a plurality of conductive terminals mounted to the main body and arranged in two rows. The shielding plate assembly is located between the two rows of the conductive terminals. Each of the conductive terminals has a fastening portion, a contact portion and a soldering portion. A front end of the contact portion has a contact surface. Thicknesses of two opposite sides of the front end of the contact portion are smaller than a thickness of a middle of the front end of the contact portion. The contact surfaces of the contact portions of the conductive terminals are exposed to a top surface and a bottom surface of the main body, respectively.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of conductive terminals, a shielding plate and a ground element. The insulating housing has a base portion, and a tongue portion protruded frontward from a front surface of the base portion. The conductive terminals are received in the insulating housing, and front ends of the conductive terminals are exposed to the tongue portion. The shielding plate is received in the insulating housing. The ground element is for being connected between the shielding plate and ground. The ground element is received in the insulating housing. The ground element has a touch portion contacting the shielding plate.

An electrical connector includes an insulating housing, a middle shielding plate integrally molded to the insulating housing, and a plurality of terminals received in the insulating housing. The insulating housing has a base portion and a tongue portion. A front section of the tongue portion has two fixing portions. The middle shielding plate has a base plate, an extending plate, and two bending portions formed at two opposite sides of a front end of the extending plate. The two bending portions are respectively molded in the two fixing portions. Outer side surfaces of the two bending portions are exposed outside from two opposite sides of the two fixing portions. A thickness of each of the bending portions is greater than a thickness of the extending plate.

Connector contact

An electrical connector includes a housing, a circuit board, a cover and a ground element. The housing has a first side wall and a second side wall, the first and second side walls define a first inserting slot and a second inserting slot, respectively. The circuit board is mounted in the housing and defines a plurality of contact terminals. The cover is supported on the side walls and defines a plurality of locating grooves. The ground element is mounted to the housing and has an elastic cantilever arm, one end of the ground element opposite to a free end of the cantilever arm passes through the first inserting slot firstly and then the second inserting slot, the cantilever arm enters into an inside of the housing from the first inserting slot and then springs up to make the free end thereof blocked by the first side wall.

A connector includes an insulating housing defining a mouth in a front thereof which is surrounded by a bottom wall, two sidewalls and a rear wall, a plurality of terminals disposed in the insulating housing, and an actuator pivotally mounted to the insulating housing for pivotal movement between an open position and a closed position. Two insides of the sidewalls define two receiving cavities in fronts thereof facing to each other and communicating with the mouth. Two opposite side edges of the actuator oppositely protrude to form a pair of pivoting portions at front ends thereof pivoted in the corresponding receiving cavities and against rear sides of the receiving cavities when the actuator is closed. A rear end of the base board protrudes downward to form a locking ridge extending transversely to be restrained behind the rear wall and the connecting props.

Connector for flexible printed circuit board

An electrical connector has an insulating housing defining a recess. A receiving plate extends frontward from a rear surface of the recess and spaced apart from a bottom surface thereof. A shell coupled with the insulating housing to form an insertion space where the receiving plate is located has a connecting plate located between the receiving plate and the bottom surface of the recess. A portion of the connecting plate is extended and curved upwards and then curved downwards and upwards sequentially to form a substantial split ring-shaped resilient element. The resilient element comprises an upper resistive portion located adjacent to the receiving plate and a lower resistive portion located adjacent to the bottom surface of the recess. A free end of the lower resistive portion extends obliquely upwardly to form a connecting portion. A distal end of the connecting portion forms a propping portion located above the connecting plate.

Electrical connector with improved buckling tab

A board-to-board connector assembly includes a receptacle connector and a plug connector mated with the receptacle connector. The receptacle connector includes a receptacle housing having two fixing channels therein and a plurality of first terminals disposed in the receptacle housing. The plug connector includes a plug housing having two fixing ribs and a plurality of second terminals disposed in the plug housing. Each of the second terminals has a bar-shaped base portion and a soldering portion extending from one end of the base portion. The base portion is propped against the corresponding fixing rib and the soldering portion stretches out of the corresponding fixing rib. When the plug connector is engaged with the receptacle connector, the fixing rib is buckled into the corresponding fixing channel and the first terminals contact the corresponding second terminals electrically.

Board-to-board connector assembly

A micro USB connector includes a housing, contacts received in the housing and a metal shell shielding the housing. The housing has a body, the body has a front wall, the middle of the front wall extends forward to form a mating portion. The metal shell has a top plate, a bottom plate and two side plates, a receiving space is formed among the top plate, the bottom plate and the two side plates. The metal shell extends towards the receiving space to form at least one blocking portion. The body is received in the rear of the receiving space, the mating portion is received in the front of the receiving space, a front end of the blocking portion is at the front of the front wall of the body. Therefore, the electrical connection between the micro USB connector and the plug is reliable.

An audio jack includes an insulating housing having a mating wall, a rear wall, a top wall and two sidewalls. An inserting cavity is defined to pass through the mating wall and extend toward the inner of the insulating housing. The rear wall defines a through-hole communicating with the inserting cavity and the outside. The sidewalls define contact cavities, and a mating contact cavity is defined on the rear wall and communicates with the through-hole. A center pin has a connecting portion received in the inserting cavity. An end of the connecting portion extends to form an engaging portion accommodated in the through-hole. The engaging portion defines a clipping groove surrounding a positioning portion. And contacts include signal contacts inserted in the contact cavities and a mating contact having a secure portion received in the mating contact cavity. The secure portion defines a locating gap engaging with the positioning portion.

Audio jack

A receptacle connector includes a receptacle housing having a receptacle base, a lingulate board extending forward from the receptacle base, a plurality of terminal recesses formed on the receptacle base and extending into the lingulate board, and a guide recess adjoining the terminal recesses disposed in the receptacle base lengthwise and crossing through the receptacle base; a plurality of electrical terminals received in the terminal recesses; a receptacle shelter enclosing the outside of the receptacle housing. A guide slice is disposed on the bottom surface of the receptacle shelter. The guide slice is adapted to mate with and insert into the guide recess of the receptacle base.
