A multi-wavelength composite light-storing powder and method of manufacturing and applying the same. It utilizes organic compound having double-imide-bond steric structure, to produce high speed collisions with light-storing material containing rare earth elements in an environment of extremely low temperature, to make collision surface produce instantaneous high temperature, so that the organic compound is sputtered onto a surface of the light-storing material. The surface is cooled instantly due to extremely low temperature to produce the composite light-storing powder. The composite light-storing powder is apt to engage cross linked structure of thermoplastic polymer in a high temperature blending process. Then, through a filament process, to produce successfully light-storing fiber capable of emitting multi-wavelengths with high heat resistance and wash endurance.

Multi-wavelength composite light-storing powder and method of manufacturing and applying the same

A wavelength-shift composite light-storing powder and method of manufacturing and applying the same. Wherein, inorganic metal oxide and light-storing material containing rare earth elements are made to collide at high speed in an environment of extremely low temperature. The collision process makes said inorganic metal oxide to produce fusion reaction on surface of said light-storing material, that causes changes of lattice structure, to generate photon shift phenomenon and produce said wavelength-shift composite light-storing powder. Said composite light-storing powder is apt to engage cross-linked structure of thermoplastic polymer in a high temperature blending process, to achieve even distribution. Finally, through a filament process to produce successfully light-storing fibers capable of emitting lights of various wavelengths, to raise its heat resistance and wash durability.

Wavelength-shift composite light-storing powder and method of manufacturing and applying the same

Disclosed herein is a method for preparing a near infrared shielding fiber. The method includes the steps of preparing and compounding a composition, then pelletizing the compounded composition to obtain the near-infrared shielding masterbatch, and melt spinning the near-infrared shielding masterbatch into the near-infrared shielding fiber. The composition includes at least one metallic ionic compound powder in an amount of about 1-25 wt %, a cross-linking agent in an amount of about 0.1-2 wt %, a thermoplastic polymer in an amount of about 67-98.7 wt %, a cross-linking initiator in an amount of about 0.1-1 wt %, and a dispersing agent in an amount of about 0.1-2 wt %.

Composition and process for preparing NIR shielding masterbatch and NIR shielding masterbatch and application thereof

Disclosed herein is a method for preparing a near infrared shielding masterbatch. The method includes the steps of preparing and compounding a composition, and then pelletizing the compounded composition. The composition includes at least one metallic ionic compound powder in an amount of about 1-25 wt %, a cross-linking agent in an amount of about 0.1-5 wt %, a thermoplastic polymer in an amount of about 67-98.7 wt %, an initiator in an amount of about 0.1-1 wt %, and a dispersing agent in an amount of about 0.1-2 wt %.

Disclosed herein is a thermoplastic cellulosic composition for preparing a cellulose-based masterbatch and/or a cellulose-based fiber with a networked structure. In one example, the thermoplastic cellulosic composition includes an esterified cellulose present in a range of about 80 wt % to about 95 wt %, polyethylene glycol present in a range of about 4.5 wt % to about 12 wt %, a tri-functional cross-linking agent present in a range of about 0.01 wt % to about 3 wt %, an initiator present in a range of about 0.01 wt % to about 0.15 wt %, and a dispersing agent present in a range of about 0.01 wt % to about 5 wt %.

Disclosed herein is a thermoplastic cellulosic composition for preparing a cellulose-based masterbatch and/or a fiber with an improved breaking elongation. In one example, the thermoplastic cellulosic composition includes an esterified cellulose present in a range of about 77 wt % to about 95 wt %, polyethylene glycol present in a range of about 4.5 wt % to about 15 wt %, a bifunctional reactant present in a range of about 0.01 wt % to about 3 wt %, an initiator present in a range of about 0.01 wt % to about 0.15 wt %, and a dispersing agent present in a range of about 0.01 wt % to about 5 wt %.

Cellulose-based masterbatch with improved breaking elongation, application thereof and method for preparing the same

Disclosed herein is a composition for preparing a non-dripping flame retarding masterbatch. The flame retarding masterbatch includes a fire retardant in an amount of about 0.1-15.0 wt %, a crosslinking agent in an amount of about 0.1-1.5 wt %, a thermoplastic polymer in an amount of about 76.5-99.5 wt %, a crosslinking initiator in an amount of about 0.01-2.0 wt %, and a dispersing agent in an amount of about 0.1-5.0 wt % in the composition.

Non-dripping flame retarding masterbatch, composition and process for preparing the same and flame retarding article containing the same

Disclosed herein are methods for preparing non-dripping flame retarding masterbatches and filamentous non-dripping flame retarding materials. First, an admixture including a flame retardant, a crosslinking agent, a thermoplastic polymer, and a dispersing agent is prepared, and then a crosslinking initiator is added into the admixture to form a composition which is then compounded and pelletized to obtain the non-dripping flame retarding masterbatch. The resultant non-dripping flame retarding masterbatch is suitable for use in a spinning process to obtain filamentous non-dripping flame retarding materials.

Disclosed herein is a composition for preparing a halogen-free flame retarding masterbatch with low phosphorous content. The flame retarding masterbatch includes a phosphorus-containing flame retardant in an amount of about 0.1-6 wt %, a sulfur-containing flame retardant in an amount of about 0.1-5 wt %, a tertiary or quaternary ammonium salt having tri- or tetra-functional groups in an amount of about 0.1-5 wt %, a thermoplastic polymer in an amount of about 79-99.6 wt %, and a dispersing agent in an amount of about 0.1-5 wt % in the composition.
