A camera module includes a printed circuit board (PCB), an image sensor fixed to the PCB, a lens holder fixed to the PCB and covering the image sensor, a lens barrel coupled to the lens holder, and a lens received in the lens barrel. The lens holder includes an inner sensor cover and an outer sensor cover surrounding the inner sensor cover. The image sensor, the inner sensor cover, the lens barrel and the lens define an enclosed space. The inner sensor cover and the outer sensor cover define an intermediate space. The inner sensor cover defines an inner dissipation hole communicating the enclosed space with the intermediate space. The outer sensor cover defines an outer dissipation hole that communicates the intermediate space with the outside of the outer sensor cover. The inner dissipation hole and the outer dissipation hole are misaligned to prevent the ingress of light and dust.

Camera module facilitating heat dissipation

A camera module includes a base board and a lens holder mounted on the base board. The lens holder includes a main body and at least one ventilation portion integrally formed with the main body. The main body includes a top wall and a peripheral wall extending from a peripheral edge of the top wall. The top wall and the peripheral wall cooperatively define an accommodating space. The top wall defines a viewing aperture through the top wall thereof and at least one riser vent positioned adjacent to the peripheral wall. The at least one ventilation portion covers the riser vent, and is made of a waterproof breathable material.

Lens holder and camera module using the same

An exemplary electrical device manufacturing method includes the following steps. First, a first electronic module is provided. Second, one or more functions of the electronic module are verified. Third, a support module is provided. Fourth, one or more functions of the support module are verified. Fifth, the first electronic module is attached to the support module so as to form a first integrated module. Sixth, one or more functions of the first integrated module are verified.

Electrical device manufacturing method

A camera module includes a substrate, a holder, and a dustproof member. The holder is mounted on the substrate. The holder also defines an air vent. The dustproof member includes a permeable portion. The permeable portion is made of air-permeable material. The permeable portion shields the air vent. The dustproof member can also be made of a porous material plugging the air vent.

Camera module

A camera module includes an image sensor, a substrate, a lens part, a lens holder, and a voice-coil motor (VCM). The image sensor is supported on and electrically connected to the substrate. The lens holder has a bottom end and an upper end opposite to the bottom end. The image sensor is accommodated within the lens holder. The lens part includes a lens barrel which has an upper portion and a bottom portion and is disposed on the lens holder. The VCM includes a winding coiling around the upper portion and a set of permanent magnetic members fixedly fixed and surrounding the winding. The outer diameter of the upper portion is smaller than that of the bottom portion. The VCM is configured for driving the lens part to move toward to or away from the image sensor.
