Circular connector

A board connector assembly has a receptacle connector and a plug connector. The receptacle connector has a first insulative housing, two sets of first terminals and two first metal reinforcing members mounted respectively on two opposite ends of the first insulative housing. The plug connector is detachably engaged with the receptacle connector and has a second insulative housing, two sets of second terminals and two second metal reinforcing members mounted respectively on two opposite ends of the second insulative housing. The first and second metal reinforcing members enhance structural strength and durability of the receptacle connector and the plug connector.

A board to board male connector includes a male insulator, a first male signal contact set, a second male signal contact set, and a first male holding contact. The male insulator includes a first side wall, a second side wall, a first erect wall, and second erect wall. The first side wall is opposite to the second side wall. The first erect wall is opposite to the second erect wall. The first male signal contact set is disposed on the first erect wall. The second male signal contact set is disposed on the second erect wall. The first male holding contact includes a first male holding body disposed on the first side wall, and at least one first embedding wing extending from at least one side of the first male holding body and embedding into the first side wall.

Board to board male connector and board to board female connector

A micro radio-frequency connector includes an isolated body, a resilient terminal and an external terminal. The isolated body includes an accommodating slot and an inserting hole connected to the accommodating slot. The accommodating slot includes an upper inner wall and a lower inner wall opposite to each other. The resilient terminal is disposed inside the accommodating slot, and includes a fixing section, two resilient arms and a first contacting section. The fixing section is fixed to the accommodating slot. An end of the resilient arm is connected to the fixing section and contacts against the lower inner wall, the other end of the resilient arm is a free end to be separated from the lower inner wall while an external force is not applied to the first contacting section and further to contact against the lower inner wall while the external force is applied to the first contacting section.

Micro radio-frequency connector

An electrical connector is provided, including a main body, first terminals installed at a seat of the main body, second terminals embedded in the seat, and a housing. The housing has a bottom wall, two side walls, and a top wall, and defines an accommodating space having a first opening and a second opening. A plurality of first spring plates are disposed on the top wall and bottom wall. A second spring plate is disposed near the second opening of the top wall. Third spring plates are disposed near the second opening of the bottom wall. When a connector plug is plugged into the electrically connector, the first, second and third spring plates make contact with an iron housing of the connector plug to increase the contact area between the connector plug and the electrical connector, and reduce electromagnetic interference to peripheral devices.

A USB connector includes a plug comprising an insulative member, a mating member, a first conductor assembly, two elongate flexible members, a metal case member comprising inner and outer pieces, and a plastic housing for enclosing the case member and comprising upper and lower shells; and a jack comprising a shield shell, an insulative unit, and a second conductor assembly. The flexible long member includes a U-shaped member formed by bending its one end, a claw at the other long end, a toothed member at one end, a protuberance proximate the U-shaped member opposite the toothed member, and a flexible arm extended between the claw and the protuberance. Inserting the arms through the insulative member will sandwich either claw between a latch and the shield shell, rest the arms on grooves, fasten the protuberances in slots, and fasten the toothed members in tunnels for assembling a main portion of the plug.

USB connector assembly

The present invention provides a shielding shell structure for an electrical connector. The shielding shell encloses the terminal seat formed by a housing and terminals to constitute the electrical connector. The shielding shell has flanges on its bottom, which could engage with the circuit board so as to intensify the shielding shell and to prevent the shielding shell of the electrical connector from deforming for the outer force during plug/unplug process.

Mini-USB receptacle connector

Provided is an electrical connector such as a mini-USB type electrical connector comprising a conductor assembly, an insulating housing for receiving the conductor assembly, and a metal shroud for enclosing the housing and comprising a provided flexible cantilever snap lugs on its top, and a provided latches on the sides other than the top. The flexible cantilever snap lugs and the latches are adapted to couple to mating portions of a mated port on an electronic or electrical device. The invention can carry out a stable coupling of the connector to the port improve signal communication quality, and prolong a useful life.

An electrical connector assembly comprises a first connector including a locking device constructed by utilizing the principles of leverage, a metal case, a plastic housing, and a first conductor assembly; and a second connector coupled to one end of the first connector. The locking device comprises an insulating base, a support, a second conductor assembly, and a U-shaped flexible member including a transverse member and two resilient members. The insulating base comprises a U-shaped tunnel formed at either side thereof, An elongated trough is formed along either side of the support, the troughs and the tunnels being coupled together to form a ground for resting the resilient members thereon when the insulating base and the support are coupled together. The second connector comprises a slit in either side for locking the locking device. The invention can effect a reliable electrical connection.

Miniature electrical connector

An electrical connector having an insulative housing including a connection end, an opposite end, two side walls, a bottom plate, two protection shoulders extended from bottom plate toward the opposite end, and a recess confined by protection shoulders; a metal shell wrapping around the insulative housing and including two side walls, a top plate, a connection cavity, and a coplanar engaged bottom piece in the recess; and a terminal assembly including a plurality of terminals received in a cavity of the insulative housing. This construction can enhance a structural strength of connection cavity and prolong a useful life. Also, it is possible to effectively prevent melted solder from flowing into the connector during soldering, thereby maintaining good electrical characteristics of the connector.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector assembly includes a plug having a first mating portion defined by a multi-sided first confining wall, and a receptacle having a second mating portion defined by a multi-sided second confining wall. Each of the first and second confining walls has opposite first and second sides, a pair of opposite third sides respectively connected to two opposite ends of the first side, a pair of fourth sides respectively connected to two opposite ends of the second sides, and a pair of fifth sides each extending between and interconnecting one of the third sides and one of the fourth sides. The first side is longer than the second side. The width between the third sides is greater than that between the fourth sides. The fifth sides are angled away from each other while extending from the fourth sides to the third sides.

Electrical connector assembly

An electrical connector includes a terminal holding frame, first and second sets of conductive terminals mounted respectively on upper and lower terminal holding plates of the terminal holding frame in a superposed relationship, and a first metal shield that encloses the terminal holding frame. The metal shield has a closed rear side to enhance electromagnetic shielding of the conductive terminals. In addition, a second metal shield encloses a partition plate between the upper and lower terminal holding plates of the terminal holding frame. The second metal shield is formed with a pair of resilient grounding strips disposed forwardly of the partition plate. When the electrical connector is installed in a housing of an electronic appliance, the resilient grounding strips abut against the housing for grounding purposes.
