Disclosed is a method for alleviating color shift of a display panel at a large viewing angle. The panel includes a sub-pixel array formed by R, G, B sub-pixels, and black matrix areas located between the sub-pixels. The method includes providing, above the sub-pixel array, an optical grating that is parallel with the sub-pixel array. The optical grating includes transparent areas and non-transparent areas. The non-transparent areas are provided above the black matrix areas. The optical grating is configured as such that when a sub-pixel is observed at a large viewing angle, light transmitted through the sub-pixel is partially blocked by the non-transparent areas of the optical grating.

Disclosed is a liquid crystal panel for 3D display, a driving method and a pixel optimization method thereof. The liquid crystal panel includes a display panel and an FPR film attached to a surface of the display panel. The FPR film is divided into first areas and second areas, the first areas and the second areas being arranged alternately in a direction parallel to lines of the sub-pixel units of the display panel, and each covering two lines of sub-pixel units. The liquid crystal panel can reduce the production cost of the 3D display device and improve the resolution.

Disclosed is a data compression method of DeMura Table, a data decompression method of DeMura Table, and a Mura compensation method. The data compression method includes: acquiring image information of a display panel and obtaining an original DeMura Table; performing region extraction based on the original DeMura Table; performing edge detection based on the Mura region obtained from extraction; distributing each sub-pixel element included in the display panel as per results from the region extraction and the edge detection to determine a numerical value of each sampling point in the DeMura Table. The method may save storage costs of DeMura Table.
