An open calorimetry system comprising an active vessel, a passive vessel, and a first and second heat flux detector in thermal communication with the active vessel and passive vessel respectively. A thermal reservoir is connected to the first heat flux detector and the second heat flux detector, wherein data from the heat flux detectors is used in a differential analysis resulting in an energy measurement of an article in the active vessel.

Open system cold plate differential calorimeter

An electric current imaging system, device, and method includes an array of vector magnetometers that senses one or more magnetic fields in three directions produced by a flow of electric current. Such a system (and devices and methods thereof) can further include a display that displays a visual reconstruction of the original electric current that produced the magnetic field(s). The disclosed embodiments image electric current flow (both magnitude and direction) without the need for rastering or relative motion between the sensors and the conductor/device being viewed. Such embodiments can be scaled to fit both large and small applications by using discreet devices or manufacturing a single, miniaturized array with MEMS technologies.

Electric current imaging system

A system, method and apparatus for measuring carrier lifetime of a device comprises subjecting a test device to a voltage via a voltage source associated with the test system, disconnecting the test device from the voltage source, measuring the voltage as a function of time, measuring the current as a function of time, and determining a carrier lifetime of the test piece according to the slope of the measured voltage and the measured current.

Methods and systems for imaging a magnetic field as vectors (or scalars if desired) in either two or three dimensions without the need for rastering or relative motion between the sensors and the magnetic field being viewed. A secondary function is to image electric current flow as vectors. Example embodiments can be scaled to fit both large and small applications by using discreet devices or manufacturing with MEMS technologies.
