A pillow system comprises a curved main pillow having a pillow body having a midsection and a pair of ends. The pillow body is curved and is both flexible and firm to permit it to wrap around a user. A padded attachment member may be removably attachable to the pillow body, and may have a flexible midportion that permits the attachment member to be folded in half. The pillow may include a belt having two portions that may be coupled to each other to secure the pillow body around a user.

Nursing support pillows and methods

In one embodiment, a pillow is constructed of a pillow body having a top portion, a middle portion, and a bottom portion. The top portion has a curved end and two curved sides that are generally parallel to each other. The middle portion is generally cylindrical in geometry. The bottom portion includes an enlarged section that flares outward from the middle portion. The bottom portion may also include a curved central section and narrow end section having a curved end.

Body support pillow and methods

A pillow system comprises a curved pillow body having a top surface, a bottom surface, a midsection and a pair of curved arms that each have an end. The system also includes a padded booster that is configured to rest on the top surface of the pillow body. The booster has a midportion and a pair of ends. The invention generally relates to articles which may be used as headwear for infants that address issues related to flat head syndrome. In a first aspect, an article of headwear for an infant is provided. The headwear is configured to reduce pressure at the rear portion of the head when the infant is lying or reclining in the supine position. The headwear generally includes a head receiving portion having at least a top region and rear region for covering at least the top and rear portions of the head of the infant. In accordance with the invention, the headwear also includes support cushion positioned in the rear region of the head receiving portion. The support cushion is configured to support at least the rear portion of the head of the infant and to at least partially surround a pressure relief region. The pressure relief region is configured to receive at least a portion of the rear portion of the head such that pressure applied to the rear portion of the head is reduced when lying or reclining in the supine position. Methods for reducing pressure at the rear region of an infant's head while lying or reclining in the supine position are also provided.

A pillow comprises a pillow body having a midsection and a pair of ends. The pillow body is curved and is both flexible and firm to permit it to wrap around a user. A padded attachment member is removably attached to the pillow body to adjust the vertical height of the pillow body.

A support pillow comprises a cushion body having a medial region and two opposing arms that define a generally open well, with the cushion body having an outer periphery and an inner periphery adjacent the well. A shell encompasses the cushion body. A fabric cover is removably disposed over the shell such that the fabric cover generally conforms to the shell. The fabric cover defines an opening to permit the cover to be placed over the shell, and the fabric covering includes at least one fastener to close the opening once the cover has been placed over the shell.

In one embodiment, a pillow comprises a pillow body comprising a medial region and two opposing arms with ends extending from the medial region to define an inner well region. The pillow body is sized and configured to permit the medial region to rest on a user's lap, with the ends of the opposing arms being generally adjacent to the user's waist. A support member is disposed across at least a portion of the well region such that the ends of the arms extend beyond the support member. The support member is sized and configured to assist in supporting a baby when lying on the pillow body while the ends of the arms are generally adjacent to the user's waist.

Nursing pillow and methods

In one embodiment, a method for making a pillow comprises cutting at least one piece of fabric to form a pair of skins that each comprise a midsection and two arm sections. The two skins are sewn together near their outer edges except for a portion of the mid section to form a shell defining and interior and having a middle region with an opening into the interior and two opposing arms extending from the middle region to form a well region. A fill material is blown into the interior of the shell until the pillow has a firmness defined by an IFD of at least about 20 Newtons with 25% deflection, and the opening in the middle region is closed.

In one embodiment, a pillow comprises a curved pillow body having a top region and a bottom region. The top region is larger in size than the bottom region. Also, the bottom region is adapted to be placed between a user's lets while the user is lying on her side while the top region conforms to the user's stomach and chest.

A support pillow kit comprises a pillow comprising a pillow body having a medial region and two opposing arms, and a base member comprising a bottom and two spaced apart walls extending from the bottom. The pillow rests on the bottom and is held between the two walls, and a transparent cover covers the pillow and the base member.

A pillow for holding an infant comprises a pillow body having a padded region and a well region. The padded region comprises an upper section, a lower section and two side sections that surround the well region. The padded region further comprises a cover and a fill material stuffed within the cover. The pillow body angles upward from the lower section to the upper section such that when an infant is placed onto the pillow the infant is inclined, with the infant's bottom resting in the well region and the infant's back and head resting on the upper section.
