Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may receive, from a first source device, a first quantity of frames that may be compressed in accordance with a first compression scheme and may receive, from a second source device, a second quantity of frames that may be compressed in accordance with the first compression scheme. The wireless device may transmit, to at least the first source device, a compression level report that indicates a second compression scheme for compression of additional quantities of frames from the first source device, where the second compression scheme may be associated with reduced processing with respect to processing associated with the first compression scheme, where the reduced processing may be based on a correlation between the first content of the first quantity of frames and the second content of the second quantity of frames.

Compression parameter reporting

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication and to product codes for wireless communications. Some aspects more specifically relate to enabling a Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem (BCH) product code for wireless communications. In some aspects, a transmitter and/or a receiver may flexibly select parameters for a BCH product code based on or otherwise associated with communication parameters of a wireless communication to be encoded, such as the modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and/or allocation size, among other examples. For example, the transmitter and/or the receiver may select parameters for the BCH product code to ensure that the BCH product code is designed to handle a quantity of channel bits associated with a current configuration of a channel (for example, of an uplink data channel and/or a downlink data channel) and to increase a correction capability associated with the BCH product code for the current configuration of the channel.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a repeater device may transmit a repeater leakage report that indicates one or more signal leakage metrics associated with the repeater device. The repeater device may receive an indication of gain configuration information that is associated with a respective gain configuration for each respective pass-through signal of one or more pass-through signals associated with the repeater device. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may detect, via a camera of the UE, an optical beacon emitted from a network node, wherein the optical beacon is associated with a modulation with a repeated pattern that indicates an optical cell identifier associated with the network node. The UE may determine the optical cell identifier associated with the network node based at least in part on the optical beacon. The UE may communicate with the network node based at least in part on a beam association between the UE and the network node, wherein the beam association is based at least in part on the optical cell identifier associated with the network node. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The techniques described herein relate to user equipment (UE) reporting for a rake receiver configuration and setting transmission parameters. The UE receives, from a network entity, a request to provide a report indicative of one or more capability parameters associated with a rake receiver of the UE. The UE transmits, to the network entity, the report based on the one or more capability parameters. The UE receives from the network entity, signaling indicating a configuration to be applied to the rake receiver based at least in part on the report.

A first user equipment (UE) may transmit, in accordance with proximity-based service (ProSe) discovery with a network entity, a first capability message indicative of a first capability of the first UE to perform ProSe communications. The first UE may transmit a second capability message indicative of a second capability of the first UE to perform joint processing for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communications, where the joint processing includes assistance by one or more assisting UEs for reception of a message at an assisted UE. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a set of recommended base station transmit beams for full duplex operation based at least in part on measurements of a set of base station transmit beams and measurements of self-interference associated with the set of base station transmit beams. The UE may transmit a report that indicates a recommendation to use one or more of the set of recommended base station transmit beams for full duplex operation. Numerous other aspects are described.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a time and frequency resource allocated to an uplink shared channel and may identify a threshold signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) associated with the time and frequency resource. The UE may transmit both an uplink data signal and a sounding reference signal (SRS) via at least the time and frequency resource. The uplink data signal and the SRS may overlap in both time and frequency within the time and frequency resource. The uplink data signal may be transmitted using a first transmit power and the SRS may be transmitted using a second transmit power. The first transmit power and the second transmit power may be based on the threshold SNR.

Methods, systems, and devices for reporting redundancy version with feedback information. are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, feedback information corresponding to a code block group in conjunction with an indication of a redundancy version for retransmission of the code block group. The UE may monitor for the retransmission of the code block group based on the indication of the redundancy version for the retransmission of the code block group. The UE may then decode the retransmission of the code block group based on the monitoring and the redundancy version for the retransmission of the code block group.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a transmitting device (e.g., a base station) may utilize machine learning to modify a signal as conditions of a channel change to reduce a peak to average power (PAPR). For example, a base station may select a type of machine learning. The base station may receive one or more feedback messages related to a condition of a channel and modify a downlink signal based on the selected type of machine learning and the one or more feedback messages. In some cases, the base station may transmit the modified downlink signal to a user equipment (UE) along with information indicating the modified downlink signal and the UE may reconstruct the downlink signal based on the information.

Techniques for machine learning based peak to average power ratio reduction

In some aspects of the systems, methods, and devices described herein, one or more asymmetric modulation constellations may be utilized. For example, a modulation constellation utilized to modulate data symbols may be asymmetric. In some approaches, an asymmetric modulation constellation may be generated by introducing a phase shift (e.g., cyclic shift, phase rotation) to one or more constellation points of a modulation constellation. An asymmetric modulation constellation may allow detecting phase shifts without ambiguity. For example, a user equipment (UE) may perform channel estimation or phase noise estimation aided by data symbols that are modulated with an asymmetric modulation constellation. In some examples, a UE may receive a message from a network entity indicating a configuration of an asymmetric modulation constellation. The UE may demodulate data symbols of a data signal based on a channel characterization estimate that is associated with the configuration of the asymmetric modulation constellation.

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support signaling of network entities' phase noise inter-carrier interference (ICI) order for reducing user equipment (UE) phase noise cancelation complexity. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes obtaining a power spectral density (PSD) measurement of a phase noise mask of a network entity prior to deployment in the field. The network entity, after deployment, measures an integrated residual PSD measurement per candidate phase noise bandwidth size and transmits these integrated residual PSD measurements to a UE. The UE may then use the integrated residual PSD measurements to estimate phase noise for cancelation from network entity transmissions. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
