Methods, systems, and devices for reporting redundancy version with feedback information. are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, feedback information corresponding to a code block group in conjunction with an indication of a redundancy version for retransmission of the code block group. The UE may monitor for the retransmission of the code block group based on the indication of the redundancy version for the retransmission of the code block group. The UE may then decode the retransmission of the code block group based on the monitoring and the redundancy version for the retransmission of the code block group.

Reporting redundancy version with feedback information

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a transmitting device (e.g., a base station) may utilize machine learning to modify a signal as conditions of a channel change to reduce a peak to average power (PAPR). For example, a base station may select a type of machine learning. The base station may receive one or more feedback messages related to a condition of a channel and modify a downlink signal based on the selected type of machine learning and the one or more feedback messages. In some cases, the base station may transmit the modified downlink signal to a user equipment (UE) along with information indicating the modified downlink signal and the UE may reconstruct the downlink signal based on the information.

Techniques for machine learning based peak to average power ratio reduction

In some aspects of the systems, methods, and devices described herein, one or more asymmetric modulation constellations may be utilized. For example, a modulation constellation utilized to modulate data symbols may be asymmetric. In some approaches, an asymmetric modulation constellation may be generated by introducing a phase shift (e.g., cyclic shift, phase rotation) to one or more constellation points of a modulation constellation. An asymmetric modulation constellation may allow detecting phase shifts without ambiguity. For example, a user equipment (UE) may perform channel estimation or phase noise estimation aided by data symbols that are modulated with an asymmetric modulation constellation. In some examples, a UE may receive a message from a network entity indicating a configuration of an asymmetric modulation constellation. The UE may demodulate data symbols of a data signal based on a channel characterization estimate that is associated with the configuration of the asymmetric modulation constellation.

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support signaling of network entities' phase noise inter-carrier interference (ICI) order for reducing user equipment (UE) phase noise cancelation complexity. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes obtaining a power spectral density (PSD) measurement of a phase noise mask of a network entity prior to deployment in the field. The network entity, after deployment, measures an integrated residual PSD measurement per candidate phase noise bandwidth size and transmits these integrated residual PSD measurements to a UE. The UE may then use the integrated residual PSD measurements to estimate phase noise for cancelation from network entity transmissions. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication of a capability to receive or transmit a time domain communication having a first portion of a symbol configured with a first modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and a second portion of the symbol configured with a second MCS that is different from the first MCS. The UE may receive or transmit the time domain communication having the first portion configured with the first MCS and the second portion configured with the second MCS. This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for lens design for full-duplex communication. In some aspects, a device may use a lens design that enables full-duplex operation through a lens by facilitating an avoidance or mitigation of self-interference during full-duplex operation. The lens may have a first, antenna-facing surface and a second, outward-facing surface and, to avoid or mitigate self-interference due to reflection off the lens, the first surface may have a first curvature associated with a relatively small radius. In such examples, the device may transmit wireless signaling from a transmitting element and a reflection off the lens may be dispersed or otherwise oriented away from a receiving element in accordance with a design of the first curvature. In some implementations, the lens may include an anti-reflective coating to further reduce reflection off the lens.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, a request to report one or more frequency corrections, the request including an indication of one or more reporting parameters for the one or more frequency corrections. The network entity may transmit a set of one or more reference signals associated with performing the one or more frequency corrections at the UE. The UE may monitor for the set of one or more reference signals and transmit, to the network entity, a report indicating the one or more frequency corrections in accordance with the one or more reporting parameters. The UE may transmit the report according to a periodicity, according to a trigger, or both indicated in the one or more reporting parameters. The network entity may perform channel estimations based on the report indicating the one or more frequency corrections.

Method and apparatus for channel oriented modulation selection for improved spectral efficiency. The apparatus receives an activation indication indicating an activation of a modulation selection procedure and a set of REs used for the modulation selection procedure. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communications device may transmit a first signal. The first signal may be transmitted from a first antenna array of the communications device through a lens of the communications device in a direction. An energy of a portion of the first signal may be below a threshold based on a position of a second antenna array of the communications device. The portion of the first signal may correspond to a portion of a reflection of the first signal that overlaps with the position of the second antenna array. The communications device may concurrently receive, at the second antenna array, a second signal originating from another direction, where the second signal may be focused in the direction of the second antenna array based on the lens.

Resource offset mapping may refer to the mapping of frequency-domain symbols to different subsets of resources that are offset from each other or separated by gaps. For instance, a first wireless device may map a first set of frequency-domain symbols to a first subset of subcarriers and a second set of frequency-domain symbols to a second subset of subcarriers. A lowest subcarrier of the second subset of subcarriers may be separated by an offset or a gap from a highest subcarrier of the first subset of subcarriers. As a result, at least some distortion experienced on subcarriers in the gap may not spread to other subcarriers, and the reliability and throughput of communications between the first wireless device and a second wireless device may improve.

Some aspects more specifically relate to signaling to support selection of labeling configurations of modulation constellations. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) transmits capability information indicating one or more capabilities relating to selection of a labeling configuration that indicates labels for symbols of a modulation constellation. A network node may transmit an indication of a labeling configuration in accordance with the capability information.
