In some examples, a thrombus removal device includes a stationary element and a movable element configured to macerate a thrombus into smaller pieces as the thrombus moves into a basket defined by an expandable element. The stationary element defines a plurality of arms configured to segment the thrombus into smaller pieces. The movable element is configured to move relative to the stationary element, e.g., to rotate, plunge, vibrate, and/or oscillate, in order to macerate the thrombus.

In some examples, a catheter assembly includes a delivery catheter defining a delivery catheter lumen, a delivery catheter handle connected to the delivery catheter, a retrieval catheter defining a retrieval catheter lumen configured to receive the delivery catheter, and a retrieval catheter handle connected to the retrieval catheter. A proximal end of the retrieval catheter handle is configured to removably couple to a distal end of the delivery catheter handle.

In some examples, a catheter defines a longitudinal axis and includes an inner member, a retaining member, and a support member. The inner member has an outer wall, and a portion of the inner member has a first stiffness. The retaining member defines a pocket configured to receive a connecting member of an expandable medical device. The retaining member has a second stiffness that is different from the first stiffness. The support member extends distally from the retaining member. In some examples, the support member is configured to be received radially within the expandable medical device when the connecting member is received within the pocket. The support member is configured to provide a gradual transition between the first stiffness of the inner member and the second stiffness of the retaining member.

In some examples an implantable medical device may include a frame and a flexible tubular valve body. The frame may define a frame lumen and may be expandable from a compressed configuration to an expanded configuration. The flexible tubular valve body may extend between a downstream end and an upstream end. The valve body may define a valve lumen, a downstream opening at the downstream end, and an upstream opening at the upstream end. The valve body may be attached to the frame such that the frame lumen is in fluid communication with the valve lumen. The valve body may comprise a neck and may be configured to fold about the neck to at least partially close the valve lumen. The valve body may be configured to collapse in an absence of fluid flow through the valve lumen to at least partially close the valve lumen.
