Apparatuses, components, devices, methods, and systems for an adjustable firmness mattress are provided. An example rectangular shaped adjustable firmness mattress extends lengthwise from a head end to a foot end, widthwise from a first side to a second side, and depth-wise from a top side to a bottom side. The example mattress may include an adjustable firmness support layer disposed between the bottom side of the mattress and the top side of the mattress. The adjustable firmness support layer may include at least one rotatable assembly having an orientation-specific firmness, a bridge assembly disposed between the at least one rotatable assembly and the top side of the mattress; and a support assembly disposed between the at least one rotatable assembly and the bottom side of the mattress.

Adjustable firmness mattress system

An intracorporeal device is provided for supporting heart function of a patient. The intracorporeal device is configured to be secured across at least two anatomical walls of the heart. The intracorporeal device is configured to be secured to one or more anatomical walls by a connector. The connector is arranged to be positioned across one or more anatomical walls.

A method is provided for supporting heart function of a patient. The method comprises the step of securing an intracorporeal device across at least two anatomical walls of the heart, wherein at least one anatomical wall is an intra-cardiac wall and a least one anatomical wall is an extra-cardiac wall.

Methods, apparatus, and systems are provided for scanning and measuring an anatomical cavity. An apparatus may include an absorbing medium assembly that is fluidly connected to an earpiece and configured to provide an absorbing medium to the earpiece. The absorbing medium assembly may include a medium container with a gas trap, as well as a tube fluidly connected to the medium container. The gas trap may be located at a top portion of the medium container. The tube may be coupled to the top portion or a bottom portion of the medium container. The system may include a dip tube disposed inside the medium container when the tube of the absorbing medium assembly couples to a top portion of the medium container. A gas relief valve configured to enable gas to escape may also be present in the apparatus.

Air removal and fluid transfer from a closed system

An intracorporeal device for delivery into a patient is provided. The intracorporeal device includes a proximal end and a distal end. The distal end is detachably coupled from the transcatheter delivery device. The device relates to a transcatheter system and corresponding devices and methods of treatment, and is particularly useful for the delivery and implantation into the body of a patient of medical devices, such as mechanical circulatory support devices, but also has a wider variety of applications.

Transcatheter device and system for the delivery of intracorporeal devices

A method is provided for the transcatheter delivery of an intracorporeal device and includes establishing a device delivery pathway in a patient. The device delivery pathway extends at least from an entry point into the patient to an exit point from the patient. A method is also provided for the transcatheter retrieval of an intracorporeally implanted device and includes establishing a device delivery pathway in a patient, wherein the device delivery pathway extends at least from an entry point into the patient to an exit point from the patient. A delivery device is also provided for the transcatheter delivery of an intracorporeal device through a device delivery pathway in a patient, the delivery device comprising a catheter comprising a radial separation mechanism, or a delivery catheter and detachably coupling with an intracorporeal device.
