A method and apparatus for formation, filling, and sealing unit dose packages for consumer products are described herein. A filling system with a filling control system is also disclosed. Although the filling system is described in conjunction with a method for forming, filling, and sealing unit dose packages, the filling system and filling control system can be used in other dispensing processes.

A method and apparatus for pleating or otherwise shaping a web are described herein. The method and apparatus may have numerous applications. In some embodiments, the method and apparatus are used in the formation, filling, and sealing of unit dose packages for consumer products. A method and apparatus for forming sealing two moving webs together, which webs have portions that are non-planar are also described herein.

Articles for applying color on a surface comprise a sheet of dry color component and an adhesive on one surface of the sheet of dry color component. The article further includes a releasable liner, and the sheet of dry color component is arranged between the releasable liner and the adhesive. Methods for providing a substantially permanent color effect on an architectural surface comprise delivering such an article to the architectural surface.

Articles for applying color on a surface that includes a sheet of dry color component having a margin, a front sheet surface, and a rear sheet surface opposite the front sheet surface, and an adhesive on the rear sheet surface for bonding the sheet to the surface. Either the margin of the sheet or the entire sheet is adapted for reducing or eliminating the visual perceptibility of the seam created when the margin is positioned in an overlapping, abutting, or spaced apart relationship with a margin of a juxtaposed second article. The reduction or elimination of the visual perceptibility of the seam may be promoted by a physical mechanism, a chemical mechanism, an optical mechanism, or a combination of these mechanisms.

A shade for covering and uncovering an opening. The shade is attachable to drawstrings which raise and lower or otherwise move the end of the shade to obscure/reveal more or less of the opening, as desired. The shade is attachable to the drawstrings through attachments which comprise slots, etc. The attachments do not require threading of the drawstrings through holes in the shade. The shades are conveniently removable from the drawstrings and optionally disposable so that different shades may be coordinated with room colors, seasonal events, etc.
