A cell culture device includes a culture unit, a gas supply unit, a first pressure unit, at least one inspecting unit and a control unit. The culture unit contains a cell culture liquid. The gas supply unit, connected with the culture unit, is used for transmitting a culture gas into the culture unit. The first pressure unit, connected with the culture unit, is used for applying a pressure to the cell culture liquid in the culture unit. The at least one inspecting unit, connected with the culture unit, is used for receiving the cell culture liquid for inspection. The control unit, electrically coupled with the culture unit, the first pressure unit, the gas supply unit and the at least one inspecting unit, is used for monitoring corresponding condition parameters to determine respective operations. In addition, a cell culture method for the cell culture device is also provided.

Cell culture device and method thereof

A tubular structure for producing droplets and a method of using the tubular structure to produce droplets are provided. The tubular structure includes microchannel structures, and is used for droplet generation, droplet collection, nucleic acid amplification and/or in situ droplet detection, etc.

Apparatus for immunoassay includes: a cartridge, including at least one test unit; a pin-film assembly, having a second sealing film, a plurality of pierce mechanisms, and a first actuation unit; a plurality of magnetic particles; at least one first magnetic unit; and at least one second magnetic unit. The test unit includes a plurality of fluid chambers, a plurality of pin chambers, a microchannel structure, a buffer chamber, a detection chamber and a waste chamber. The first actuation unit drives the pierce mechanisms to enable a working fluid to flow into the detection chamber storing the magnetic particles. As the second magnetic unit has a magnetic force larger than that of the first magnetic unit and can move reciprocatingly between a third position and a fourth position, the magnetic particles are driven to move reciprocatingly inside the detection chamber, thereby fully mixing the magnetic particles with the working fluid.

Apparatus for immunoassay

A curved laryngoscope and an operation instrument assembly applying the same are provided, wherein the curved laryngoscope is provided with a guiding structure and a locating device. The guiding structure and the locating device can be individually or both adopted in the curved laryngoscope to assist various operation instruments in moving and being located reliably, and therefore improve the reliability, accuracy and facility in operation using the curved laryngoscope.

An analytical system for performing centrifugal analysis on a working fluid with different components includes a uniform-dividing unit with a reduced cross section to divide the working fluid, a separating unit connected to the uniform-dividing unit, and a detecting unit. The detecting unit includes a detection compartment and a constant-quantity region connected to the separating unit through a separation channel. When rotating the uniform-dividing unit, the working fluid located at the uniform-dividing unit is transmitted to and separated by the separating unit, thereby causing one component of the working fluid to be separated from the other component and transmitted to the detection compartment through the constant-quantity region. With constant-quantity region, the detection compartment can be prevented from flushing by the excess of the separated component, and thus yield of product detection can be increased and different assays detection is carried out with a small sample volume at the same time.

Analytical system, analytical method and flow-path structure

A hose compressed peristaltic pump is provided. The pump includes a base, a sidewall structure mounted on the base, and forming a containing space therein, a rotor having a center in the space and further having plural integral protrusions, and a hose disposed between the protrusions and the sidewall structure.

A microfluidics switch with moving planes has a first substrate with some holes and a second substrate with some micro-channels. Herein, the relative planes of both substrates are covered by a hydrophobic material. Therefore, while the substrates are neighboring and relatively moving, the overlap relation between the holes and the micro-channels are varied and a switch function is provided. Further, by using the hydrophobic material, while the distance between substrates is smaller than the height of drop of each liquid inputted into the holes, the fluids can not fluid between the planes and then different micro-channels are isolated from each other.

A microfluidic chip on a transparent substrate includes microchannels, and an electric layer having a heater and a sensor layout on the microchannel nearby and aside for supplying heat source and sensing the temperature individually. The sensor is close to the microchannel for controlling the temperature accurately. Hence, the microfluidic chip can measure the temperature precisely without using an isolation layer and lower energy consumptions and reduce production costs.

A biochip with multiple microchannels is provided. Due to the sloped microchannels, the fluids in the microchannels flow at substantially the same rate, thus facilitating cellular experiments of potential medicaments. Since the flow resistance of the sloped microchannels changes gradually, the fluids can flow in the microchannels without retention and the reagents react consistently with the cells in the microchannels. Hence, the cellular reaction time for the reagents in the microchannels can be correctly determined. Moreover, the biochip of this invention further includes at least one multi-splitter to control the influx or efflux of the fluids.

An apparatus and a method for collecting fluid fractions. The present apparatus includes an inlet, a channel, a plurality of collectors, and an outlet. The inlet communicates with the collectors and the outlet through the channel. The collectors are disposed between the inlet and the outlet. The method for collecting the fluid fractions comprises two steps. First step, injecting the fluid in to the inlet for guiding the fluid to the outlet along the channel, wherein the fluid fills the collectors one by one due to the capillary attraction when passing through the collectors, and flows to the outlet after the collectors having been filled. Second step, injecting pressurized gas into the channel to drain the fluid fractions from fill the collectors respectively to a plurality of corresponding containers.

Apparatus and method for collecting fluid fractions

This specification disclosed a partially closed microfluidic system and a fluid driving method. The microfluidic system is comprised of a substrate with microfluidic elements and a thin film. A feature of this structure is that the thin film is elastic and deformable. It has a single opening corresponding to a vent hole on the substrate, thus forming a partially closed microfluidic system. The substrate is designed to have several positions for micro fluid elements and deformable chambers and uses micro channels to form a complete network. Since the thin film is elastic and deformable, one is able to impose a pressure on the thin film above the deformable chambers in this partially closed microfluidic system to drive the fluid into motion. Once the pressure is released, the fluid flows back to its original configuration.
