A display apparatus including a circuit substrate, a plurality of light-emitting elements, an optical film, and an adhesive layer is provided. These light-emitting elements are electrically bonded to the circuit substrate. The optical film overlaps the light-emitting elements. The light-emitting elements are disposed between the optical film and the circuit substrate. The adhesive layer is disposed between the optical film and the circuit substrate, and connects the light-emitting elements and the optical film. A cavity is provided between the light-emitting elements, the circuit substrate, and the adhesive layer.

Display apparatus

An optical lens, a light-emitting device and a backlight module are provided. The optical lens is used for adjusting light emitted from a light-emitting unit. The optical lens includes a light-incident surface and a light-emitting surface. The light-incident surface encloses a space for accommodating the light-emitting unit. The light-emitting surface is used for receiving and emitting light entering the optical lens via the light-incident surface. The optical lens has an optical axis, with respect to which the light-incident surface is asymmetric.

Optical lens, light-emitting device and backlight module

A display module includes a display panel including two substrates and a display medium sandwiched between the two substrates, a wavelength modulation unit including a carrier substrate and a wavelength modulation layer on the carrier substrate, the carrier substrate having a coefficient of thermal expansion substantially matching coefficients of thermal expansion of the two substrates, an adhesive layer bonding the display panel and the wavelength modulation unit to form a space between the display panel and the wavelength modulation unit, and an optical film interposed in the space to be clamped between the display panel and the wavelength modulation unit.

Display module

A display device including a display panel, a film, a flexible connecting unit, a first glue, and a second glue. The film is stacked on an outer surface of the display panel and has an extension portion extending out of the outer surface. The flexible connecting unit connects to the display panel and extends out from a first end of the display panel. A gap exists between the flexible connecting unit and the extension portion while the first glue is at least partially distributed within the gap. The second glue at least partially distributed between the flexible connecting unit and the edge of the first end, and the second glue is different from the first glue.

Display device

A display device includes a first substrate, a first polarizer, and a cover. The first polarizer is located on the first substrate, such that light passing through the first substrate irradiates out from the first polarizer. At least a portion of the cover is located on the first substrate, and the cover extends away from the first polarizer and protrudes from the first substrate. A side of the cover and a side of the first polarizer facing away from the first substrate are coplanar or not coplanar.

A backlight module including a light source, a reflector, a chamber, and a block plate is provided. The light source has at least one light unit arranged along a first direction. The reflector extends along the first direction and a curve opposite the light unit is formed on a cross section perpendicular to the first direction. The reflector has a first end and a second end opposite to each other. The first end extends toward the light source while the second end forms a light exit with the light source. The chamber has a light entrance end facing the light exit to receive light reflected by the reflector. The block plate is disposed between the light unit and a light-receiving surface of the chamber to reduce the light directly reflected to the light-receiving surface of the chamber by the reflector.

Backlight module and display device

A light guide plate includes a light guide layer and a metal reflective layer. The light guide layer has a light emitting surface, a bottom surface and a light incident surface. The light incident surface is located between the light emitting surface and the bottom surface. The metal reflective layer is coated on the bottom surface of the light guide layer. Additionally, an average reflectance of the metal reflective layer for light in a wavelength range of 400 to 550 nanometers is greater than an average reflectance of the metal reflective layer for light in a wavelength range of 550 to 700 nanometers.

Light guide plate and back light module having the same

A touch panel including a light guide plate, a plurality of light sources and a plurality of detectors is provided. The light guide plate has a top surface, a bottom surface, a plurality of side surfaces and a plurality of light incident surfaces. The light sources are disposed at the light incident surfaces of the light guide plate, and the light sources have a photocell total reflection angle (&#x3b1;) and a photocell vertical divergence angle (&#x3b2;) corresponding to the light incident surfaces of the light guide plate, wherein &#x3b8;&#x3c;&#x3b1;&#x3c;60&#xb0;, &#x3b8; is a critical angle of the total reflection angle of the light guide plate, and &#x3b2;&#x3c;50&#xb0;. The detectors are disposed corresponding to the light sources so as to receive photocell signals from the light sources.

Touch panel and touch display device having the same

A light source includes a carrier, a plurality of solid-state light-emitting devices, a light-incoupling component, a first reflector, and a plurality of second reflectors. The solid-state light-emitting devices and the light-incoupling component are configured on the carrier. The light-incoupling component has a bottom surface, a top surface, a plurality of side surfaces adjoining the bottom surface and the top surface, and a through hole extending from the bottom surface to the top surface. The solid-state light-emitting devices are located in the through hole. The first reflector covers the through hole. The second reflectors are configured on the side surfaces. Light emitted from the solid-state light-emitting devices enters the light-incoupling component via a sidewall of the through hole and leaves the light-incoupling component via the top surface thereof.

Light source and backlight module having the same

The present disclosure provides an electronic writing system including a holder, a light guide plate, at least one light source, and at least one optical film. The light guide plate is disposed in the holder, and the light guide plate has at least one light entrance surface and a light exit surface. The light source is disposed on the light entrance surface of the light guide plate, and is used for generating a light. The light enters the light guide plate through the light entrance surface, and the light emits out of the light guide plate from the light exit surface. The optical film covers the light exit surface of the light guide plate.

Electronic writing system and operating method thereof

An optical plate structure for a touch panel includes an optical plate, at least a light source, and at least an optical camera. A light-emitting surface of the optical plate includes a plurality of micro-structure. The light source is disposed beside a vertical side of the optical plate and emits a first light entering the optical plate. The optical plate guides the first light and emits a second light from the light-emitting surface. The optical camera is disposed beside the optical plate or in a corner of the optical plate and above the light-emitting surface, for detecting a third light incident on the light camera. The second light is reflected by an object touching the optical plate to become the third light. The optical plate structure for a touch panel may be utilized in a touch display panel or a touch liquid crystal display panel.

A touch display device includes a device housing, a display module, and an optical touch module. The display module is located within the device housing and has a display region and a peripheral region surrounding the display region. The optical touch module is configured on the display module. Besides, the optical touch module includes a light guide element, a light source, and a photo sensor. The light guide element has a top surface and includes a light guide portion and an outer frame portion. The light guide portion is located on the display region. The outer frame portion extends from an edge of the light guide portion and is connected to the device housing. The light source supplies light to the light guide portion. The photo sensor receives the light from the light guide portion. The outer frame portion covers the light source and the photo sensor.

Touch display device

A light guiding plate and a backlight module and a display device applying the light guiding plate are provided, in which a structure of prisms on a light emergence surface of the light guiding plate is designed by, for example, adopting a mixed structure of prisms in different specifications, regulating the specifications of the prisms, such as a vertex angle and a corresponding reprint ratio, varying the reprint ratio of the prisms with respect to a distance from a light incident surface of the light guiding plate, or combining the aforementioned design solutions, thereby adjusting a light emitting effect of the light guiding plate, increasing uniformity of backlight, and improving display quality of the display device.

Alight guide plate assembly for a backlight module is provided. The light guide plate assembly includes a plurality of light guide plates. Each light guide plate has a top face, at least one side face, and at least one connecting part. The connecting part is formed on the side face of the light guide plate. The connecting part has a connecting face, wherein the adjacent connecting faces are connected to each other. The top faces of the plurality of light guide plates are coplanar. A distance between the connecting face and the top face is &#x2153; to 1/20 of the thickness of the light guide plate.

Light guide plate assembly

A light emitting diode contains a package structure and a light emitting diode die embedded in the package structure. The package structure has an elliptic bottom surface having a semi-major axes and a semi-minor axis and a semi-ellipsoidal surface connecting and surrounding the edge of the elliptic bottom surface, wherein the maximum height of the ellipsoidal surface from the elliptic bottom surface is between the semi-major axes and the semi-minor axis.
