The central body includes a first side and a second side. The first seal extension extends from the first side of the central body. The first seal extension includes a first extension side and an extension end. The extension end extends substantially perpendicular to the first extension end. The second seal extension extends from the second side of the central body.

A diverter seal member for a diverter structure of a tub spout structure includes a central body, a first seal extension, and a second seal extension. The central body includes a first side, a second side, and an aperture extending completely through the central body between the first side and the second side of the central body. The first seal extension extends from the first side of the central body and around a central axis that extends axially through a center of the aperture. The first seal extension includes a first extension side, a second extension side, and an extension end. The extension end of the first seal extension extends substantially perpendicularly to the first extension side and the second extension side of the first seal extension. The second seal extension extends from the second side of the central body around the central axis of the aperture.

The spout further includes an outlet portion extending from the second side. The outlet portion includes an outlet bore that is in fluid communication with the inlet portion. The spout further includes a plastic engine configured with waterway connection geometry and one or more locking lips, where the plastic engine is installed in the spout shell through the annular inlet portion and is secured in place by the one or more locking lips prior to reaching the annular outlet portion.

The inflexible portion is configured to receive the fitting or configured to have the fitting integrated therein, be held adjacent a wall by the plumbing fixture, and receive the water from the plumbing fixture. The flexible portion is configured to be coupled to and extend from the inflexible portion, selectively receive the water from the inflexible portion, and selectively provide the water out of the tub spout.

The spout further comprises a first camming surface formed on the internal surface. The plumbing fixture further comprises a lift knob. The lift knob comprises a head. The head comprises a front side, top side, and a bottom side. The lift knob further comprises a shaft. The shaft is axially movable within the hole and has a first end and a second end. The first end is coupled to the bottom side of the head and the second end disposed within the spout. A second camming surface is formed on the bottom side of the head. The second camming surface has a geometrically complementary surface to the first camming surface.
