A resource exploitation management system, method and a computer program product therefor. A description of new geological evidence for a geological resource is received, e.g., as one or more triples describing the evidence. Keywords in the description are matched against keywords in representations in a geological resource database. Geological relations are inferred from the descriptions and matched against predefined geological relations from the geological resource database. Consistent triple matches are merged with the geological resource database. The confidence level for merged matches is updated in the geological resource database.

Resource exploitation management system, method and program product

A method of extracting jargon from a document corpus stored in a database using a processor and a user interface is described herein. A sub-domain input is entered through the user interface to initiate a review of the document corpus stored in the database. The processor separates the document corpus into at least one sub-corpus and a remainder corpus. The at least one sub-corpus is defined by the sub-domain input. A first topic model and a second topic model are built to generate respective topic similarity scores for at least one term extracted from the at least one sub-corpus and at least one corresponding term extracted from the remainder corpus. The respective topic similarity scores are compared by the processor to identify jargon terms and thereby provide a list of jargon terms through the user interface.

Automatic extraction of domain specific terminology from a large corpus

A concept discovery method, system, and computer program product include preparing a concept index for concepts built over a set of input data having input terms, building a vector representation of the concepts in the input data, receiving a set of query terms as an additional input, mapping the set of query terms to the concepts in the concept index, calculating at least one of a co-occurrence score for each of the concepts in the concept index by measuring their frequency of co-occurrence with the input terms' concepts and a similarity score for each of the concepts in the concept index by measuring the similarity of their vector representations according to a vector similarity measure, and ranking the concepts with respect to their relevance to the input terms by the at least one of the co-occurrence score and the similarity score.

A method and system for accessing information related to a physical document. An electronic copy of an existing physical document is identified and located. The electronic copy of the physical document is an exact replica of the physical document. A selected part of the physical document is identified and in response, data related to the selected part of the physical document is retrieved from the electronic copy of the physical document. The retrieved data is presented visually to a visually impaired person or orally to a blind person on the user system, which enables the visually impaired person to see or hear, respectively, the retrieved data.

A request for authentication from a user of a computer system is received. An authentication prompt is transmitted to the user, wherein the authentication prompt corresponds to a plurality of stored authentication responses, and wherein each of the plurality of stored authentication responses is used to authenticate the user. A first user authentication response is received. Whether to accept the first user authentication response based on a degree of similarity between the first user authentication response is determined and a stored authentication response from the plurality of stored authentication responses. Responsive to accepting the first user authentication response, a security score is calculated representing a level of confidence with respect to verifying the user for authentication, based on a type of authentication response for the first user authentication response. Responsive to determining that the security score is greater than an authentication score the user is authenticated.

Single prompt multiple-response user authentication method

Dynamic risk communication associated with a computer device may include automatically detecting one or more security risk factors for the computer device based on current context information associated with the computer device. Whether an attempt is being made via the computer device to manipulate the one or more risk factors in an attempt to reduce a security level of a computer-implemented authentication procedure may be determined. Responsive to determining that the attempt is being made to manipulate the one or more risk factors, a new challenge for additional identification may be communicated for presentation on a user interface device of the computer device while suppressing one or more security risk factors from being presented on the user interface device. Responsive to determining that an attempt is not being made to manipulate the one or more risk factors, the new challenge and one or more security risk factors may be communicated.
