In one embodiment, an apparatus of a wireless communication device includes control circuitry to cause receiver circuitry of the wireless communication device to switch between an on-mode and an off-mode. The apparatus also includes synchronizing circuitry to: perform a correlation on signals of a packet received by the receiver circuitry when in the on-mode to detect a pattern in the received signals, and cause the control circuitry to hold the receiver circuitry in the on-mode based on detection of the pattern in the received signals. The apparatus further includes demodulation circuitry to process additional signals of the packet received by the receiver circuitry when held in the on-mode.

Time slotted scan receiver

An EC platform including a controller to control multiple integrated circuits (ICs) to synchronize an operational internal clock signal of an IC with a master clock signal. The controller generates commands for the IC to measure a phase difference or latency difference between an initial internal clock signal of the IC and an input clock signal to the IC from a parent IC. The controller further receives a difference signal from the IC to indicate the phase or latency difference. The IC includes a measurement circuit to measure the phase or latency difference, and to generate a difference signal to indicate the phase or latency difference. The IC further includes a synchronization clock generator to generate, based on the initial internal clock signal and the difference signal, an operational internal clock signal synchronized with the master clock signal. Other embodiments may also be described and claimed.

Multi-chip synchronization with applications in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar systems

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to efficient concurrent multichannel discovery and reception. A device may determine high performance communications circuitry and low performance communications circuitry within a first component of the device. The device may determine one or more high power radio frequency (RF) chains associated with at least one of a high frequency band or a low frequency band. The device may determine one or more low power RF chains associated with at least one of the high frequency band or the low frequency band. The device may perform a first operation with the high performance communications circuitry using a dynamically selected one of the one or more high power RF chains or the one or more low power RF chains and a second operation with the low performance communications circuitry using a dynamically selected one of the one or more low power RF chains or the one or more high power RF chains, wherein the dynamic selection is based at least in part on a use case, and wherein the first operation and the second operation are performed concurrently.

Efficient concurrent multichannel discovery and reception

A method for interference reduction in transmission of at least two single carrier frequency continuous communication beams including producing a first communication signal for a first digital communication link, producing a second communication signal for a second digital communication link, transmitting the first communication signal over a first continuous communication beam at a first frequency, transmitting the second communication signal over a second continuous communication beam at the first frequency, characterized by modifying the first communication signal using transmitter interference cancellation. A method for interference reduction in reception of at least two single carrier frequency continuous communication beams including receiving a first received signal from a first digital communication link, receiving a second received signal from a second digital communication link, modifying the first received signal, adding the modified first received signal to the second received signal, thereby producing a reduced-interference second received signal, characterized by the modifying of the first received signal being based, at least in part, on reducing an error rate of the reduced-interference second received signal.
