A method is provided for output validation of data processing systems, performed by one or more processors. The method comprises performing a data comparison between a first data table and a second data table to determine a data differentiating table, wherein the first data table is based on an output of a first data pipeline, and wherein the second data table is based on an output of a second data pipeline; performing a schema comparison between the first data table and the second data table to determine a schema differentiating table; generating a first output validation score based on the data differentiating table; generating a second output validation score based on the schema differentiating table; and generating a summary comprising both the first and second output validation scores.

Output validation of data processing systems

A method is provided for output validation of data processing systems, performed by one or more processors. The method comprises aggregating at least a portion of a first data table, which is an output of a data pipeline of a first data processing system, into a first aggregated data table; aggregating at least a portion of a second data table, which is an output of a data pipeline of a second data processing system, into a second aggregated data table; the second data processing system being designed to perform essentially a same functionality as the first data processing system; performing a data comparison between the first aggregated data table and the second aggregated data table to obtain a data differentiating table; performing a schema comparison between the first aggregated data table and the second aggregated data table to obtain a schema differentiating table; generating a summary from the data differentiating table and the schema differentiating table; and deriving a value from the summary that indicates a similarity between the output of the data pipeline of the first data processing system and the output of the data pipeline of the second data processing system.

A method and system for assessing a value of a first application with respect to a use of a mobile communication device in communication with a second communication device are presented. The method entails assigning a set of proximity values that relate the use of the application to the communication between the mobile communication device and the second communication device, and determining an impact and a value based on the proximity values. The proximity values may include a relationship proximity value, a time proximity value, a geographical proximity value, an action proximity value, and one or more user-defined proximity values. A system and method are disclosed for communicating messages between users that use different messaging services. A message from a user communication device is communicated to a remote user communication device using a first messaging service. The remote user communication device communicates messages using a second messaging service. The message from the user communication device is routed to a messaging interface gateway in accordance with configuration information associated with the remote user communication device. The message is routed from the messaging interface gateway to a messaging server associated with the remote user communication device. The messaging server is configured to use the second messaging service. The message is delivered to the remote user communication device using the second messaging service.

System and method for short message service and instant messaging continuity

Exemplary embodiments of the present invention are directed to a system and method for user identity portability in communication systems. The present invention can provide user identity portability across communication networks that do not necessarily impose a phone number as the identity, addressing, or routing identifier. According to exemplary embodiments, a user identified by any suitable user identifier can switch network operators (e.g., from operator A to operator B) and retain their user identifier. For example, an identity server can support reverse lookup ENUM usage for URI and other identity correlation. Thus, all communication contacts that the user had while with operator A can seamlessly continue communications with the user even after the user switches to operator B.
