The system obtains KPIs of the production RAN of the network and capabilities of multiple UEs interacting with the test RAN. The system creates a test case based on the KPIs and the capabilities of the multiple UEs interacting with the test RAN by: adjusting a type of traffic associated with the test RAN, adjusting traffic characteristics, and adjusting the capabilities of the multiple UEs interacting with the test RAN. The system runs a simulation of the test case interacting with the test RAN to obtain simulation KPIs. The system determines whether the simulation KPIs correspond to the KPIs associated with the production RAN. Upon determining that the simulation KPIs correspond to the KPIs of the production RAN, the system stores the test case in a database. Upon determining that the simulation KPIs do not correspond to the KPIs of the production RAN, the system adjusts the test case.

Aspects herein provide systems, methods, and media for mitigating uplink degradation, noise, and/or other interference experienced between a user device and a satellite. When the uplink degradation, noise, and/or other interference is below a signal quality threshold, the telecommunications network identifies base stations with coverage areas that overlap with the coverage area of the satellite. The telecommunications network instructs and causes those base stations to modify an amount of power to be utilized on the uplink channel between another user device and the base station. This power modification technique reduces or prevents uplink degradation, noise, and/or other interference experienced between a user device and a satellite and caused by communications between other user devices and the terrestrial base stations.

Terrestrial system and method for mitigating interference through dynamic uplink power modification

The system scans a RAN associated with a wireless telecommunication network to obtain an indication of a hardware status and a software status associated with the RAN. The system determines whether there is an update to the hardware or software status associated with the RAN. Upon determining there is the update, the system obtains from a first database an indication of a remote radio head configured to test the update. Based on the indication of the remote radio head, the system obtains from a second database multiple UEs configured to test the update. The system tests the update by causing the remote radio head to send a communication to a UE among the multiple UEs. The system obtains logs associated with the communication and, based on the logs, determines whether the update passes the tests.

Intelligent method and systems for automated radio network performance evaluation of a wireless telecommunication network

Methods and systems are provided for dynamically adjusting broadcast beam patterns of a wavefront emitted by an antenna array based on the types of devices communicatively coupled to the base station associated with the antenna array. The broadcast beam patterns can be adjusted by modifying the broadcast mode or at least one phase, amplitude, or power of the at least one antenna associated with the base station. Adjusting the beam pattern, for example between multiple beams and a single unified beam, based on device types can improve the quality of service for the devices and reduce the processing burden of the base station.

A Fifth Generation New Radio (5GNR) network serves User Equipment (UE) with low-latency Quality-of-Service (QoS). A source 5GNR node receives signaling from the UE and transfers the signaling to a network controller. The network controller processes the signaling to determine a low-latency QoS. A network gateway receives user data and transfers the user data to the source 5GNR node. The source 5GNR node wirelessly transfers the user data to the UE. Responsive to the low-latency QoS, the source 5GNR node transfers multicast signaling to the network controller when received signal strength at the UE reaches a multicast trigger. The network controller transfers multicast signaling to the network gateway. The network gateway multicasts the user data to the source 5GNR node and to neighbor 5GNR nodes.

Embodiments of the invention include a system for reducing tropospheric ducting and tropospheric refraction in a wireless telecommunication network. A base station or network component receives weather information and determines if conditions are right for tropospheric ducting or tropospheric refraction. A simultaneous rise in UL interference, call failure rates, and call drop rates in adjacent markets can indicate tropospheric ducting. A rise in UL interference, call failure rates, and call drop rates by devices in one market can indicate tropospheric refraction. Where these UL interferences, call failure rates, and call drop rates occur daily for a similar duration each day, they are treated as being caused by tropospheric propagation and a mitigation routine is implemented through antenna down-tilt.

Exemplary embodiments described herein include systems, methods, and nodes for distributing relay wireless devices across an access node. Network identification numbers associated with at least two wireless devices may be determined. At an access node, a traffic class identifier and frequency band may be assigned to the at least two wireless devices, wherein each frequency band available for communication at the access node is assigned at most a maximum number of wireless devices comprising a network identification number that meets the criteria. Data may then be communicated between the access node and the at least two wireless devices according to the assigned traffic class identifiers and frequency bands, wherein the wireless devices comprise relay wireless devices that relay data between the access node and one or more small cells.

The tiles are spaced to surround the circumference of the cable. A method and system are provided for adjusting power distribution to remote radio heads in a telecommunication network. Multiple buses are implemented in a configuration to individually distribute power to remote radio heads. Each bus is connected to a remote radio heads allowing the remote radio head to receive power on an individual basis and different from other remote radio heads. An eNodeB collects operational measurements from a cell site which are used to provide instructions to adjust the power to each bus and corresponding remote radio head.
