An electronic apparatus and method for configuration of an audio reproduction system is provided. The electronic apparatus captures a set of stereo images of the listening environment and identifies a plurality of objects, including a display device and a plurality of audio devices, in the set of stereo images. The electronic apparatus estimates first location information of the plurality of audio devices and second location information of the display device. Based on first location information and the second location information, the electronic apparatus identifies a layout of the plurality of audio devices. The electronic apparatus receives an audio signal from each audio device and determines a distance between each audio device of the plurality of audio devices and a user location based on the received audio signal. The electronic apparatus determines an anomaly in connection of at least one audio device and generates connection information based on the determined anomaly.

Configuration of audio reproduction system

An electronic apparatus and method for configuration of an audio reproduction system is provided. The electronic apparatus receives image of a listening environment and applies a machine learning model on the image to identify a plurality of objects, including a display device and a plurality of audio devices. The electronic apparatus determines contour information of each identified object. The electronic apparatus retrieves real-dimension information of each identified object. Based on the determined contour information and the retrieved real-dimension information, the electronic apparatus determines first distance information between a listening position and each identified object. The electronic apparatus receives an audio signal from each audio device and determines a second distance between each audio device and the listening position based on the received audio signal. The electronic apparatus determines an anomaly in connection of at least one audio device and generates connection information based on the determined anomaly.

An electronic apparatus and method for audio reproduction virtualization in an enclosed physical space. The electronic apparatus generates a 3D model of an enclosed physical space based on one or more images and applies a machine learning model on the 3D model, to determine a plurality of objects and one or more acoustic parameters of the plurality of objects. The electronic apparatus controls an audio capturing device to determine a first frequency response for a first sound in the enclosed physical space based on the determined one or more acoustic parameters. The electronic apparatus applies a plurality of combinations of operational modes, and 3D positions of the first audio reproduction device on the 3D model and the first frequency response to generate a second frequency response. The electronic apparatus selects first combination based on the second frequency response and displays output information associated with the selected first combination.

Virtual audio reproduction for enclosed physical space

Various aspects of a system and method to process traffic sound data to provide in-vehicle driver assistance are disclosed herein. The system includes one or more circuits in an electronic control unit (ECU) of a first vehicle. The one or more circuits in the ECU are configured to receive sound data captured by two or more audio-input devices associated with the first vehicle. The sound data corresponds to sound emanated from one or more other vehicles. Thereafter, a relative position (distance and/or angle) of the first vehicle from a second vehicle of the one or more other vehicles is determined based on the received sound data. Further, an in-vehicle alert is generated for the first vehicle based on the determined relative position. The in-vehicle alert comprises a virtual sound representative of sound emanated from the second vehicle.

System and method for processing traffic sound data to provide driver assistance

Various aspects of a system and method for speaker position identification with respect to a user based on timing information for enhanced sound adjustment in a multi-channel speaker system are disclosed herein. The system includes an electronic device that receives a first timing signal from a control device of the speaker system. The first timing signal indicates a first time instant at which an audio signal is communicated, by the control device, to a first speaker of a plurality of speakers of the speaker system. An output of the audio signal is recorded from the first speaker at a second time instant by the electronic device. An absolute distance between the first speaker and the electronic device associated with a user, is determined based on the first and second time instant. A first instruction to calibrate at least the first speaker is generated based on the determined absolute distance.
