A method of sidelink communications by a plurality of user equipment (UE) without the control of a base station in a wireless communication system is disclosed. In one embodiment, the UE being a scheduler end is configured to allocate the resources for initial/repeated transmissions and ACK/NACK messages, and also transmit information regarding the allocated resources to both the UEs being a transmitter end and a receiver end. In one embodiment, retransmission is performed when none of the scheduler and transmitter ends has received the ACK message sent by the receiver end, so as to minimize redundant retransmission in consideration of transmission reliability. In one embodiment, retransmission is performed when at least one of the scheduler and transmitters end has received the NACK message sent by the receiver end before the retransmission timer has reached to zero, so as to minimize transmission latency.

Method of sidelink communications by user equipment

A method of side-link transmission for ultra-reliable and low latency communication (URLLC), for a first user equipment (UE) of a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises receiving a radio resource control, RRC, signaling for a first resource configuration, from a second UE of the side-link communication, wherein the second UE receives a grant-free uplink resource reserved for a grant-free uplink transmission, from a base station the wireless communication system, and transmitting a first RRC signal for a second resource configuration, to the second UE when the first resource configuration cannot support requirements of URLLC transmission.

Method of side-link transmission for ultra-reliable and low latency communication

A user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS) are provided. The UE receives an uplink transmission configuration message indicating a pre-configured radio resource pool and an uplink control configuration message indicating an uplink control radio resource in the pre-configured radio resource pool from the BS. The UE transmits an uplink control message on the uplink control radio resource and transmits an uplink data signal on an uplink data radio resource in the pre-configured radio resource pool so that the BS receives the uplink data signal according to the uplink control message.

A base station and a user equipment are provided. The base station performs a multi-user non-orthogonal uplink multiplexing transmission configuration procedure to generate an uplink multiplexing transmission configuration message based on a radio resource utilization efficiency. The uplink multiplexing transmission configuration message carries a power domain uplink multiplexing transmission parameter and a non-orthogonal uplink multiplexing transmission parameter. The base station transmits the uplink multiplexing transmission configuration message to the user equipment to make the user equipment transmit an uplink data signal to the base station according to the uplink multiplexing transmission configuration message.

The resource allocation apparatus adapted for a network comprising a femto base station (BS) which communicates with the femto BS and includes a storage, a transceiver and a processor connected to the storage and the transceiver. The storage stores a random function, reuse information and fractional frequency reuse (FFR) information which records an original cell ID/frequency corresponding relation of an unoccupied partition of the network. The processor selects a time partition from the unoccupied partition according to the random function and the reuse information, changes the original cell ID/frequency corresponding relation to generate a changed cell ID/frequency corresponding relation according to the FFR information; and generates an allocation message according to the time partition and the changed cell ID/frequency corresponding relation, wherein the transceiver conveys the allocation message to the femto BS.

The subscriber station using in a femtocell network comprises a receiving interface and a processor. The receiving interface receives a frame of the femtocell network. The processor, electrically connected to the receiving interface, blindly decodes a first logical frequency resource unit (LRU) of a frequency partition of the frame to obtain an allocation message, determines the allocation message is relative to the subscriber station, and proceeds a data transmission in the femtocell network according to the allocation message.

Thereby, the SS of the femtocell network will not occupy the same network resource of the macro BS or other femto SS, and interference of between femtocell and macrocell or other femtocell is reduced effectively.

A femtocell Base Station (femto-BS), a network resource allocation method, and a non-transitory tangible machine-readable medium thereof are provided. There are a plurality of available network resource units. The femto-BS determines an expected value that is related to the available network resource units being used by the femto-BS and its neighboring femto-BSs without having interferences. The expected value is related to a number of the available network resource units and a number of the neighboring femto-BSs. Based on the expected value, the femto-BS calculates a plurality of strategy probability values that are related to different numbers of the available network resource units used by the femto-BS. The femto-BS calculates an assigned number according to the strategy probability values. Among the available network resource units, the femto-BS can use the assigned number of them.
