A display panel including a plurality of digital code display units is provided. The digital code display units respectively display digital codes. Each of the digital code display units includes a plurality of display segments. The display segments are at least grouped into a first group and a second group. A signal waveform of at least one of a plurality of common voltage signals that drive the first group is the same as a signal waveform of at least one of a plurality of common voltage signals that drive the second group. Furthermore, a driving method of the display panel is also provided.

Display panel and driving method thereof

An electro-phoretic display and a method for driving the same are provided, where the electro-phoretic display has a plurality of pixel units. The method includes: setting a plurality of particle tightening time periods and a plurality of gray level displaying time periods for the pixel units respectively, where each of the gray level displaying time periods is arranged after each corresponding particle tightening time period; providing a plurality of particle tightening voltages to the pixel units for tightening the particles of the pixel units respectively during the particle tightening time periods, and providing a plurality of display driving voltages to the pixel units during the gray level displaying time periods. The particle tightening time periods and/or the gray level displaying time periods are determined by a plurality of display gray level data corresponding to the pixel units.

Electro-phoretic display capable of improving gray level resolution and method for driving the same

An electronic card including a first substrate, a control unit, a display unit and a driving circuit is provided. The control unit is disposed on the first substrate, receives an external voltage so as to convert the external voltage into an operation voltage, and selectively receives or provides display data. The driving circuit is disposed on the first substrate, coupled to the control unit and the display unit, and outputs a driving signal to the display unit to drive the display unit according the operation voltage and the display data.
