The side plate defines a through opening () therein and has a flange () with slits () defined therein. The locking member is secured on the bottom plate and abuts on the side plate. A locking tab () with a slanted surface () extends from the locking member. The cover has a plurality of hooks () formed thereon. A blocking tab () is formed on the cover. The resilient member is secured between the side plate of the chassis and the cover, and resiliently deforms when the blocking tab of the cover is engaged with the locking tab of the locking member to block the cover sliding in a second direction parallel to the side plate.

A computer enclosure includes a chassis (), a cover () and a resilient member (). The chassis includes a recess () and at least one locking member (). A cover is mounted on the chassis. The cover has a stop () adapted to engage with the locking member for securing the cover on the chassis. The resilient member is attached to the cover and compressed in the recess for forcing the cover to move away from the chassis when the locking member is disengaged from the stop.

Computer enclosure

A latch for securing a cover () to a base () includes a projecting tab () on one of the cover and the base, a mounting member () and a resilient member (). The projecting tab engages with the mounting member so that the cover engages with the base. The mounting member is deformable. The resilient member is compressed by the mounting member. When the mounting member is deformed, the resilient member is released to urge the mounting member to disengage from the projecting tab thereby removing the cover from the base.

A retaining device includes a computer cage (), a drive bracket () for receiving a storage device, a displacing assembly () movably combining the drive bracket and the computer cage together. The displacing assembly includes a first fixing member () slidably attached to the bottom of the drive bracket, a second fixing member () secured in the computer cage, and a pair of connecting members () pivotably disposed between the first fixing member and the second fixing member. The connecting member comprises a first post (), and a second post () parallel to the first post. The first and second fixing member each define a corresponding semicircular slot () to engagingly receiving the posts. The drive bracket is moved in and out form the computer cage, with the first and second posts of the connecting member pivotally engaging in the semicircular slots of the first and the second fixing member.
