A method for secure call endpoint pairing is disclosed. The method includes starting, at a call endpoint, a pairing procedure with a wireless headset. Also, the method includes receiving a headset identifier from the wireless headset. Further, the method includes sending the headset identifier in a request to a headset registry server, and receiving, from the headset registry server, a response to the request. Additionally, the method includes terminating the pairing procedure based on the response from the headset registry server.

Secure call endpoint pairing

A method is disclosed for performing extension mobility via a headset connection. The method includes receiving a headset identifier from a headset. Also, the method includes, in response to receiving the headset identifier, sending the headset identifier to a device management server. Further, the method includes receiving a call control user identifier from the device management server, and sending, to a call control server, the call control user identifier. Still yet, the method includes receiving, from the call control server, a configuration profile associated with the call control user identifier. One or more settings of a desk phone are configured using the configuration profile.

Extension mobility via a headset connection

The invention relates to a method for centralized control of multiple active noise cancellation devices. The method includes identifying a trigger event. Also, the method includes identifying at least one zone of a mapped area in response to identifying the trigger event. Further, the method includes identifying two or more devices based on the at least one zone of the mapped area, and transmitting a command to disable active noise cancellation on the two or more devices.

The invention relates to a method for dynamic model-based ringer profiles. The method includes receiving one or more incoming calls, and, based on the one or more incoming calls, generating one or more incoming call records. Each of the incoming call records includes an elapsed ringing time value associated with one of the incoming calls. Also, the method includes storing one or more ringer profiles. The ringer profiles are generated using the one or more incoming call records. The ringer profiles include a current ringer profile. Further, the method includes receiving a new incoming call, and, in response to receiving the new incoming call, sounding a ringtone according to the current ringer profile.

Dynamic model-based ringer profiles

A method for mediating a communication session between a first user and a second user is disclosed. The method includes storing, in a registry, device information for the second user. The device information includes a list of two or more devices associated with the second user, and, for each device, a list of one or more capabilities of the device. The method also includes selecting, for a communication session of a first type, a second device from the list of two or more devices by sorting the plurality of device information. Additionally, the method includes receiving a request to open a communication session with the second user. The request originates from a first device of the first user and includes a first session type identifier of the first type. Further, the method includes, in response to receiving the request, returning a response including device information of the second device.

Device registry for mediating communication sessions

A wearable user device is provided, which can be donned and doffed by a user, and which is configured for use in a user authentication system. To enhance the security of a user authentication, the wearable user device comprises a detector device to detect a donned or doffed condition of said wearable user device; and an alert processing module, connected with said detector device. To simplify authentication while keeping a high level of security, the authentication server comprises at least an authentication probability evaluation module for determining a probability of requestor identification. The authentication server is configured to at least receive an authentication request from an authenticator, said authentication request comprises at least user identification data. The authentication probability evaluation module is configured upon reception of said user identification data to receive user behavior information, corresponding to the received user identification data from a user information database; and to determine a user probability value by comparing at least said user behavior information with authenticator application data. Mobile user device and method of communication over a wireless medium

Playback of multimedia data associated with a recorded conference session is simplified, particularly for a person who participated in the conference session from a mobile device. At a recording server that is in communication with a plurality of endpoints in a conference session, multimedia received from the plurality of endpoints participating in the conference session is recorded. The recording server obtains geographical location information for at least one mobile endpoint participating in the conference session as the at least one mobile endpoint moves. The recording server temporally correlates the geographical location information for the at least one endpoint with recorded multimedia data for the conference session. The recording server stores data tags for the geographical location information for the at least one mobile endpoint in association with the recorded multimedia data for subsequent use in indexing to map data to retrieve a portion of the recorded multimedia data for playback.
