A system for verifying a sample volume includes a sample reservoir and a volumetric verification device. The sample reservoir defines an inner volume and is configured to receive a volume of bodily fluid. The inner volume of the sample reservoir contains an additive. The volumetric verification device includes a first indicator and a second indicator. The volumetric verification device is configured to selectively engage the sample reservoir to (1) place the first indicator in a first position along a length of the sample reservoir such that the first indicator is substantially aligned with a surface and/or meniscus of the additive and (2) place the second indicator in a second position along the length of the sample reservoir such that the second indicator is substantially aligned with a predetermined fill volume when bodily fluid is transferred to the inner volume.

Devices and methods for verifying a sample volume

Devices, systems, and methods for marking and/or reinforcing fenestrations in grafts are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a radiopaque marker for a graft is provided. The marker can be secured to the graft in the area near a fenestration such that the marker is visible via radiographic imaging. The radiopaque marker can be in the form of a radiopaque thread, a radiopaque bead, a radiopaque additive, or a radiopaque adhesive. In some embodiments, the radiopaque marker is in the form of a circular disc shaped and sized to surround a fenestration, the circular disc being formed of a radiopaque material. The radiopaque marker can be configured to or can be attached to a reinforcement member configured to reinforce a fenestration such that one or more edges of the fenestration are protected and/or to aid in engagement with and sealing to a mating stent.

Systems, devices, and methods for marking and/or reinforcing fenestrations in prosthetic implants

Devices, systems, and methods for implanting a patient-specific prosthesis at a treatment site in a patient are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a patient-specific prosthesis includes a tubular graft and a coupling member. A fenestration can be disposed in the tubular graft, the fenestration corresponding to a predicted branch blood vessel location. The coupling member can be disposed about the fenestration. The coupling member can include a coil configured to expand from a first configuration to a second configuration in response to the application of an expanding force. The coil can be configured to contract to a third configuration upon removal of the expanding force.

Systems, devices, and methods for coupling a prosthetic implant to a fenestrated body

An apparatus includes a fluid reservoir, a sterilization member, and a transfer adapter. The sterilization member operably couples to the fluid reservoir. The sterilization member is configured to be transitioned between a first configuration, in which the sterilization member obstructs an inlet surface of the fluid reservoir and maintains the inlet surface in a substantially sterile environment, and a second configuration, in which the inlet surface is unobstructed. The transfer adapter is configured to be placed in fluid communication with a portion of a patient. The transfer adapter is configured to move relative to the sterilization member from a first position to a second position such that a surface of the transfer adapter contacts the sterilization member to transition the sterilization member to the second configuration. The fluid reservoir is placed in fluid communication with the transfer adapter when the transfer adapter is in the second position.

Apparatus and methods for maintaining sterility of a specimen container

Devices, systems, and methods for coupling a prosthetic implant to a fenestrated body are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a branch stent graft is provided. The branch stent graft can include an engagement portion for engagement with an opening in a fenestrated body, such as a vessel wall or an aortic stent graft. The engagement portion of the branch stent graft can be coupled to the fenestrated body such that the branch stent graft can move, rotate or shift relative to the fenestrated body but such that axial movement of the branch stent graft is restricted and/or prevented.

An apparatus includes a housing, defining an inner volume, and an actuator mechanism movably disposed therein. The actuator mechanism is configured to be transitioned from a first configuration to a second configuration to define a pre-sample reservoir fluidically couplable to receive a pre-sample volume of bodily-fluid via an inlet port of the housing. The actuator mechanism is movable from a first position to a second position within the housing after the pre-sample reservoir receives the pre-sample volume such that the housing and the actuator mechanism collectively define a sample reservoir to receive a sample volume of bodily-fluid via the inlet port. The outlet port is in fluid communication with the sample reservoir and is configured to be fluidically coupled to an external fluid reservoir after the sample volume is disposed in the sample reservoir to transfer at least a portion of the sample volume into the external fluid reservoir.

The linkage mechanism, in addition to providing precise displacement of the occlusion bed, may also provide an over-center feature that enhances safety and pump operation when the door is in a closed position. Latching mechanisms and sensors may be incorporated. Control consoles incorporating such peristaltic pump assemblies are described. Adaptive components such as tubing cassettes routing aspiration and/or infusion tubing in a predetermined configuration to mate with occlusion pathways in aspiration and/or infusion pump assemblies provided in various types of medical devices and control consoles are also provided.
