Embodiments for efficient phase level energy monitoring of a data center by at least a portion of a processor. Power consumption of each power phase of a three-phase power is monitored to generate a derived power utilization over a selected time period. The derived power utilization over the selected time period is used to load balance an overloaded power phase.

Power phase energy level monitoring and management in a data center

A plurality of air data may be collected by a sensor within a data center. The plurality of air data is received by a processor. At least a portion of the received plurality of air data corresponding to at least one zone within the data center may be determined to satisfy a threshold. Coordinates of a geographical location associated with the zone that includes the sensor may be transmitted to a robotic filter. The robotic filter can be dispatched to the transmitted geographic location to filter the zone.

Automatic database filtering system utilizing robotic filters

A method for providing backup power to power loads. The method includes a computer processor identifying an indication of a power failure to a computing system. The method further includes identifying a first active power load that is imposed on the computing system by one or more computing devices in the computing system. The method further includes responding to the power failure by activating a first IPU that is connected to the first active power load, identifying a power duration threshold for the first active power load, and determining whether a duration of power stored in the first IPU is less than the identified power duration. The method further includes responding to the determination that the duration of power stored in the first IPU is less than the identified power duration threshold of the first active power load by initiating a shutdown protocol for the first active power load.

In-line backup power source incorporating communication capability

A system and method for providing power is disclosed. A variable direct current (DC) power source provides a variable DC voltage. A configurator dynamically converts the variable DC voltage to a selected DC voltage to provide the power. A set of switches combines the solar voltage with a substantially constant DC voltage. A control unit controls the set of switches and the configurator to provide the combined voltages at a selected voltage level.

Energy efficient solar powered high voltage direct current based data center

A method for scheduling cost efficient data center load distribution is described. The method includes receiving a task to be performed by computing resources within a set of data centers. The method further includes determining, all available data centers to perform the task. The method further includes determining lowest computing cost task schedule from available data centers. The method further includes scheduling the task to be completed at an available data center with the lowest cost computing.
