An electrical connector includes a body and at least one terminal. The body has a top surface and a bottom surface opposite to each other, multiple receiving holes running through the body from the top surface to the bottom surface, and at least two protruding blocks protruding downward from the bottom surface and located around each of the receiving hole. A gap exists between the two protruding blocks. Each of the protruding blocks has a stopping surface toward the gap. The terminal is disposed in the receiving hole. The terminal has a fixing portion and two clamping arms extending downward from the fixing portion along a plate surface for clamping a tin ball. Bottom ends of the two clamping arms are located in the gap. The stopping surfaces are configured to stop the clamping arms and prevent the clamping arms from moving in a plate thickness direction.

Electrical connector with terminal clamps for improved soldering quality

A coaxial connector for a mating device to be inserted therein, includes an insulating body having a sustaining portion, a static terminal having a first contact portion, and a movable terminal having a second contact portion for contacting the first contact portion. The sustaining portion and an object below have a gap therebetween. The static terminal and the movable terminal are fixed to the insulating body. An elastic arm is formed by extending from the second contact portion. The sustaining portion engages the elastic arm. When the mating device is inserted into the coaxial connector, the mating device presses the elastic arm downwards, the second contact portion moves downwards to be separated from the first contact portion, and the elastic arm drives the sustaining portion to move downwards together, such that the sustaining portion butts against the object below to prevent the movable terminal from moving downwards excessively.

Coaxial connector

A cable connector and a manufacturing method thereof. The method includes: providing an insulation body, putting a terminal that has a receiving portion into the insulation body, preparing at least one groove on a cable, in which the cable has a first part inserted in the insulation body and a second part extending out of the insulation body, and the groove is provided on the first part, pressing the cable, so that a side edge of the receiving portion pierces the cable at the groove, thereby electrically connecting the terminal and an inner conductor of the cable. The groove enables the terminal to pierce the cable easily, implementing desirable electrical connection between the inner conductor and the terminal, and also stops the cable in the extending direction of the cable, preventing the cable from escaping.

Cable connector and manufacturing method thereof

An electrical connector for electrically connecting a chip module to a printed circuit board. The electrical connector includes an insulating body and a pressing plate for covering the insulating body. A receiving area for receiving the chip module is disposed on the insulating body. Multiple terminal receiving slots are provided inside the receiving area, and at least one bump is disposed inside the receiving area. An opening is provided at the pressing plate. An urging portion is disposed at each of two opposite sides of the opening, respectively, and pressing force-application points are formed at two ends of the urging portion. When the pressing plate covers the insulating body, the bump is correspondingly located below the force-application points to bear the chip module, so as to avoid warps and deformations of the chip module when pressed.

Electrical connector assembly for securing chip module

An electrical connector includes an insulating body and a plurality of first terminals, disposed side by side in the insulating body. The insulating body is formed with at least two bridging-portion removal holes. Bridging portions between the first terminals are capable of being removed through the bridging-portion removal holes. The at least two bridging-portion removal holes are respectively formed through plate surfaces of the insulating body, and the at least two bridging-portion removal holes are arranged in a staggered manner in a front-to-rear direction.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector includes a grounding terminal, a signal terminal and an insulating body. The grounding terminal has an annular body. The annular body is formed by curling and has a seam. The seam extends to form at least one grounding pin. The signal terminal has a base located below the annular body. The base has one end provided with a soldering portion and the other end extending upwards to form a contact portion in the center of the annular body, and the base does not overlap a projection of the seam on a plane where the base locates. The insulating body wrapps the grounding terminal and the signal terminal, and the grounding pin and the soldering portion protrude out of the insulating body.

An electrical connector includes a body having a plurality of receiving slots, a plurality of terminals respectively accommodated in the receiving slots, each terminal having a stopping portion, and a cover, slideably covered on the body, and having a plurality of pressed surfaces respectively corresponding to the stopping portions. When the cover slides along a first direction relative to the body, the stopping portion limits upward displacement of the pressed surface, so as to limit upward warping of the cover, thereby ensuring good contact between the terminal and a mating element.

Electrical connector for connecting chip module to circuit board

An electrical connection device for electrically connecting a chip module includes a reinforce device and a socket. The reinforce device includes a load plate, a stiffener, a fixing member and a pressing member. The fixing member is disposed on the load plate and used for fixing the chip module, and at least one positioning portion is disposed on the fixing member. The load plate is pivoted to the stiffener. The pressing member is disposed on the stiffener and used for pressing the load plate to be closed on the stiffener. The socket locates below the chip module, and electrically conduct to the chip module. The socket contacts and is positioned by the positioning portion of the fixing member.

The invention relates to a fastener. The fastener includes: a lower fastening base, in which a pivoting plate is disposed upward on a back end of the lower fastening base and concavely disposed with a limiting groove, an upper fastening plate, disposed on the lower fastening base in a covering manner, in which a back end of the upper fastening plate has at least one pivoting portion pivotally connected to the pivoting plate, a limiting portion, extending backward from the upper fastening plate and penetrating the limiting groove correspondingly, at least one stop block, convexly extending from the limiting portion and located behind the pivoting plate, and a fixing part, disposed on a frond end of the lower fastening base and used for fixing the upper fastening plate to the lower fastening base.

Fastener for an electrical connector

A shielded connector. In one embodiment, the shielded connector includes: a seat, including an insulating body with a plurality of through slots and a plurality of positioning slots, in which a shielding body is disposed in the through slot and no shielding body is disposed in the positioning slot, at least one conductive body connected to the shielding bodies, and at least one lead-out portion electrically connecting the conductive body to a motherboard; and a plurality of conductive terminals, each including a contact portion, a body portion extending from the contact portion, and a connecting portion, in which the body portion includes a positioning section extending from the contact portion and in interference fit with the positioning slot, and a conducting section extending from the positioning section into the through slot and not in interference fit with the through slot.

Shielded connector

An electrical connector with a plurality of solder balls arranged therein. In one embodiment, the electrical connector includes: an insulating body, wherein a plurality of receiving slots are formed through the insulating body, and at least one side surface of each receiving slot forms a stop wall; and a plurality of conductive terminals, received in the receiving slots. Each conductive terminal has a base, at least one fixing portion extends downwards from the base, and a soldering portion is bent laterally and extends from the fixing portion. The soldering portion includes a soldering arm and a hook portion bent and extending from a lower end of the soldering arm towards the stop wall. The solder ball is clamped between the soldering portion and the stop wall. The hook portion has at least one retaining point urging against a lower hemispherical surface of the solder ball.
