An indoor positioning system and method are provided. The indoor positioning method includes: establishing an image database through a BIM model of a target area, and using a trained deep learning model to extract features of a virtual image; after obtaining a captured image in the target area, using the trained deep learning model to extract features thereof, and performing similarity matching with the image database to calculate a spatial position of a most similar image; calculating the most similar image and its essential matrix through multiple sets of feature points, and obtaining capturing positions and capturing pose parameters as positioning results; projecting the BIM model to a tracking captured image, and updating the positioning results and the capturing pose parameters with a visual inertial odometer; and continuously correcting the positioning results and the capturing pose parameters by detecting horizontal and vertical planes from the tracking captured image.

Indoor positioning system and indoor positioning method

A building information modeling (BIM) feedback system has at least one data system, a model presentation server system, a user device, and an information feedback database management system (DBMS). The data system receives objects posted by the model manager and then retrieves information of a building model and object mapping information, wherein the object mapping information records the relation between object identifications and the retrieved objects. Via the user device, a user views the building model and manipulates to generate feedback information, wherein the feedback information has an object data structure having the object identification and the parameters associated with the object which has the parameters to be updated. Based on the object mapping information, the information feedback DBMS requests the corresponding data system to update the parameters of the corresponding object according to the feedback information.

The present invention relates to an augmented reality system for use in an on-site construction process. The augmented reality system includes a plurality of mobile devices, each of which is operable by an authorized user, includes a private information accessible to the authorized user and has a tangible touch-display screen for showing the private information; and a central processing station electrically connected with each of the plurality of mobile devices, including a public information accessible to all of the authorized users and having a tangible touch-display interface for showing the public information, wherein when the private information included in one of the plurality of mobile devices and accessible to the authorized user is transmitted to the central processing station, it is regarded as the public information and accessible to all of the authorized users.

Augmented reality system and method for on-site construction process

An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides an ontology enhancement method. Firstly, at least an input information request is received. Then, based on an ontology, each input information request is expanded to produce at least an expanded information request of each corresponding input information request. Based on a searching model, according to each expanded information request, a file collection is searched to obtain searching results of each corresponding expanded information request. Then, according to each searching result, a plurality of candidate knowledge concepts of each corresponding searching result are extracted. Next, the candidate knowledge concepts of each searching result are selectively added into the ontology.
