An onboard battery load test system for a utility vehicle. The onboard battery load test system includes a vehicle battery, a primary pump disposed in a fluid circuit and configured to pressurize a fluid in the fluid circuit, a backup pump disposed in the fluid circuit as a redundancy to the primary pump, at least one battery sensor operable to generate a battery sensor signal representative of a condition of the vehicle battery, and a controller operatively coupled with the at least one battery sensor. The controller includes a processor, a memory device operatively coupled with the processor, and battery load test logic stored in the memory device and being executable via the processor to determine health of the vehicle battery by: initiating a current draw on the vehicle battery by the backup pump, receiving the battery sensor signal, and determining the battery health based on the battery sensor signal.

A tow cable kit is mounted to a pin support member which is attached to a frame of the vehicle. The pin support member includes an upper plate and a lower plate. Each plate has a front bore and a rear bore. The front bores receive a front towing pin, and the rear bores receive a rear towing pin. The front towing pin is received by a towing cable, the rear towing pin is received by a drawbar. The tow cable kit includes a floater plate which is spaced apart from the pin support member and is coupled to both towing pins. The floater plate has a pair of spaced apart bores for receiving the towing pins and for protecting snap rings which are mounted on the towing pins.

A support mechanism supports a hood in a raised position with respect to a vehicle to which the hood is pivotally coupled. The mechanism includes two pairs of arm members which are pivotally coupled to each other by a central pivot pin, and which are coupled between the vehicle and the vehicle hood. A flat coil spring is coiled around the central pivot pin and is attached to the arm members. The spring is biased to pivot one pair of arms and in turn the hood upwardly.

A bearing assembly for a hitch link having a removable spherical bushing within a socket is arranged to be symmetrical about a plane dissecting the socket lengthwise of the link. The socket is formed with laterally extending protrusion to increase the socket strength at the location of the greatest tension forces. The socket is configured with an entry slot for the bushing that is normal to the length of the link so that the slot does not interfere with the area of the contact wear surface between the busing and the socket. Once the bushing is installed in the socket, a sleeve is inserted into a bore of the bushing. One end of the sleeve has a raised retaining lip and the opposite end of the sleeve carries a snap ring groove. A snap ring is seated in the groove and retains the sleeve in the bushing.

High strength ball end for a hitch link

A wedge shaped bumper for the draft link of a tractor three point hitch is adjustable along the length of the draft link and has a concave curved surface in the longitudinal plane of the draft link. The longitudinal curve allows the bumper to be shorter in length than a flat surfaced wedge bumper while providing the same change in thickness. The bumper mounts to the draft link in a longitudinal channel formed by upper and lower walls on the draft link having tapered engagement surfaces to transmit vertically loading from the bumper to the draft link without shear loading of the bumper mounting bolt.
